Got myself all dolled up for a night in the gayborhood. Haven't been out to the bars in a while so I'm pumped.

 

I was gonna say it's Friyay.

But then I realized it's not.

What's your bookdepository situation?

My Latin crosswords arrived today.
And I'm just going to say - oh boy

I haven't gotten anything yet.
Hopefully next week. I've been reading similar things online but I sort of don't want to because then I might not be as interested in the books I got, so I'm forcing myself to try not to read lol.

 

Do you do the crosswords in bed?

All my crossword books look the same. The first few are done, and then there's 97 empty ones lol.

Then I remember after we got over crosswords we started reading plays in bed to each other, doing all the accents and different characters. That was pretty fun too.

 

Not always.
I just do them wherever.
Ideally, I would do them in the morning, over a cup of coffee. Because I am 60 years old.

 

I think that's a good idea as it would stimulate your mind for the day, whereas sometimes stimulating your mind before bed works the opposite lol. Which happened to me tonight I went to bed earlier and I just kept waking up because I kept having stupid dreams as I stimulated my mind before trying to sleep.

 

Bookdepository's been very slow for the last couple of months.
I've been ordering stuff for years, and they are now at their slowest.

 

Hmm probably because of the free shipping they use the cheapest way possible. I should just go into a book store, I don't know why I don't I guess I assume they won't have anything I'm interested in. which is usually true too. Good for fiction but not so much non+fiction.

 

What were you doing before sleep? Reading?

 

They kind of make up for the free shipping, I think.
I've noticed that sometimes same things will be cheaper on amazon.
Except it's really hard for me to find amazon sellers that deliver to Croatia, so I don't even bother.

 

I've been watching seminars for a couple of weeks, I've really gotten into them and I go to bed so energised with information and all that info makes me dream strange things.

I was disappointed to find out the guy I had been watching, which is the author of the books I'm getting, is in fact, a flat earth person. That really disappointed me lol now I'm like grr, do I even take this guy seriously anymore.

But I'm not interested in that stuff, it's his archaeology stuff I like. He's like a modern day Indiana Jones, and I think that's cool I'd love to do that stuff.

 

I stopped using Amazon for that reason I'd find something I like and get excited, get to the purchase, oh.. It only ships to America. and then when you find one that will ship to Europe, it's twice as expensive + a shipping fee.

 

Tomorrow, we're supposed to go to lunch with hubby's sister and brother-in-law. At least I think it's still on.

They want to eat fried catfish at 11:00 in the morning.

Yuck.

I'm sure I'll find something I want on the menu.
