I'm not really working on a particular project but I am trying to get into the habit of writing every day

I wish I was a good artist. I have this idea for my album cover, I wanted to do like probably me in my hat and face shield on my horse overlooking my town, but I don't know if I want to be a photo or a drawing, probably a drawing and I've got my hands on the reins and nasty looking 44 on my side.

I use HF to help with writing and creativity.

Shiat, half the time I'm not responding to anything for any particular reason, it's almost like association test, read a thread title, post first thing that comes to mind.

What do you like writing? :) I'm a hopeless writer because I can never stay on the one subject, like atm, I'm trying to figure out every way to rhyme pine trees and dirt roads, but in 3 weeks Pfff. Could be influenced by anything. Raps get put on the back burner and in a year's time I'll be like oh yeah that's right, I still need to get this album out... Like I needed to... For the last 5 years. :p

Lol i'm the same way, I have a rrreeaally short attention span. I like writing anything really - poetry, non-fiction (essays about interesting topics, etc), short stories. But it can be difficult for me to finish a story because my mind has moved on before I finish it. I can focus best on non fiction because if something interests me i'm never really going to lose interest in it. I wish I would have went into journalism.

We're all waiting for your album to drop so now you have to focus on it :D

I write articles for iRacing every so often. That's what kicked our league up big time was me writing race letters and recaps. It's literally what people wanted. See most other FB groups they say "such and such won" well I took the time effort to write a realistic recap and added screenshots like you'd see on any sports site.

People want to read about themselves, they want to see themselves. Before too long I had other people approach me online asking me to write for the front page of iRacing, or to write a series review with whatever they're doing.

Tbh, it was fun. But I'm over it. I just don't really care anymore, I'll do it for us.because it's our series, but until someone wanna pay me, I ain't writing for them anymore. :p

I actually thought iRacing would pay me for the articles, but apparently the subscription service that charges you for everything you want to do, expects community charity from everybody else. I don't even get a discount.

Its been a good 3 weeks off tbh. I haven't missed it. I have missed racing but honestly I'm too scared to try the internet to see if it even works well atm. You know when you really want to do something but you're worried about being let down so you just don't do it? That's me with that.

Told myself to get in control of my pool practice too.. 3 weeks away less than, I'm not practicing how I need to be, but I guess every time I do I'm content with how I'm going.

I've made a conceded effort to really take in the knowledge in the tank book and it has worked.

I literally just walked past our table where my remote control Tiger II sits and I'm like, nah wait up.. The number on the tank reads 3818 i say that's impossible. I just learned that the first number on a German tank is its batallion number, the 2nd number donates the platoon number, the 3rd number is the tank number.

    ....

    There's no 4th number!

Secondly! The final number of 8 makes the least amount of sense considering there were never more than 6 Tigers in one armoured platoon.

And I felt proud of myself, because i learned something and considering I read that 2 days ago and remembered it right now, it means this completely useless knowledge will be with me forever. :p by the end of this I want to be able to walk into a military show and start making vocal observations about random things people normally wouldn't do.

Impressive, but now if you could reveal the secret location of all that hidden Nazi gold you’ll make us all millionaires

Only a couple of years ago, somebody discovered a mass collection of stolen artwork from WW2 in a barn right here in sleepy little Mittenwald. So the gold might actually be closer to me than you'd think lol.

I didn't really look into my town during WW2 I considered it too out of the way for really anything to happen here, but, it wasn't so. No fighting may have happened here, but in the fields just out of town there was a concentration camp. :( I didn't look into who was held there but since I've never heard of it I'm thinking just political prisoners or POWs.
