What's Happening?

My new employer assigned me to redesign the company logo!

The architect who works for the company came up with a new logo, but it was horrible. His design was very busy and had so much going on. Not to mention all the pointless cast-shadows that are very outdated in graphic design.

 

It'll be a hard lesson for him regardless. Sorry about your fender that can be expensive if your insurance doesn't cover it.

 

I can understand a kid being scared of an adult of a car he just hit.. but he probably knew he was in for some shit, as well should know better than that. Hes very lucky to get me to lesson him at this spot because if he was going straight- where is my car wasnt in the way, that street speed is much faster at the point I made my turn around the building. .. cars coming down straight would be a deadly hit, if he ran the alley like he was about to do before he hit me. I know the cops were not happy with him, as he must of been told before not to be in the streets like that. Or playing in this back alley .. lots of big trucks back there too. Im just glad he wasnt hurt but his pride and bike. nice bike too. was nice. sadly i dont know where kids would get to ride bikes around there. No wonder theyre glued to phones.

I almost had one ride her bike into me, head-on, until she looked up from texting on her cell phone. Almost became a hood ornament.

 

havent seen the phone on the bike kid yet.. Im sure its out there lurking somewhere.

 

Kids on their phones not paying attention to anything going on around them is one of my biggest teaching points to my daughter. I hate that fuckin phone!

Hubby went to his monthly doctor visit.

I thought that I had to stay awake to get the triplets from the bus stop but as it turns out, both their parents are home today and can do that.

I could actually take a nap but I don't know...

 

Having a good day at work. Going to meet a friend after work and go to her gym, for a change up.

OK. Know personally in the flesh as a friend/lover specifically. Meaning I have encountered thy member in person on another occasion and you're sending said pick to tickle me... make me laugh, interest me in a soon to be encounter. "Oh is that gun out of your pocket waiting to see me?"

 

lol. I picked up the week in movies on DVD. 7 in total; one for each night. I got "The Accountant", something called "Ragnarok" that is not Thor, "The Normal Heart" which has the always beautiful and intelligent Julia Roberts in it, "Ocean's Twelve" which I think is pretty old but I haven't checked exactly how old, "Mechanic Resurrection" starring Jason Statham and Jessica Alba along with Tommy Lee Jones and someone named Michelle Yeoh with whom I'm unfamiliar, "The Circle" which is a repeat for me but is new so might be interesting for a second go around, and "Office Christmas Party" with a whole lot of people I haven't heard of but several I have including Jason Batman, Olivia Munn, and Jennifer Aniston. That's all! lol It should prove to be interesting watching this week, though I usually fall asleep during my movie at night.
