i always thought you guys had opposite seasons from us. spring doesn't start here for three more weeks.

and to punctuate that fact, we're having a fun little blizzard right now.

 

well i'm fucking annoyed now. i've been playing through my old warcraft 2 game lately (i had posted previously in another thread about its impossibleness, but i tried some new strategies and actually made it to the end). a couple days ago i had started the final mission, which i worked on for about 4 hours and got well over halfway through before deciding i had to go to bed, so i paused it and left it to be finished tonight when i knew i would have a little free time. so i just went to do so, and literally one second after i picked up the controller my power flickered and it turned off the playstation. nothing saved of course, since this game works by entering passwords for each level.

the power came right back on but it looked unnaturally dark outside, so i stuck my head out the door to see if there was a streetlight out or something, and i noticed that there's a small branch sitting on the hood of my car.

 

Bustelo...mmmm.

Ugh... And now the power seems to be out permanently. I finished the book I was working on, and I've already killed half my phone's battery between the flashlight (I don't have the right batteries for my actual flashlight, this never really comes up normally), and going through hipforums posts.

I even have a headlamp that I use for nighttime kayaking, but I think it's at work so my phone is literally my only readily available light source.

 

Thank God I have some beer. That's one thing that makes sitting alone in the dark slightly more bearable.

Hell, I had even jacked off a half hour before the power started fucking up. That would have been the perfect pastime, but I'm too old for twice in such a short period without some sort of stimulation to encourage it.

 

We are going to a night festival of food tonight. My miss looked at the menu and said, think you can get stoned before we go?

Can I get stoned? I love you.

 

Spa day with my BFF mañana.

Pedis, facials, soaks, massages...hope to by tomorrow afternoon I'm as relaxed as a noodle. Been wound too tight lately.

 

You can be a boiled noodle then, long and stringy.

I need to ask Kramer what pasta I am

 

It's dark as hell and everything is covered in a layer of snow and ice, so it's hard to tell right now. I don't think it will be too bad though; the branch really isn't that big and there's no obvious denting anywhere. My guess is there will be some small divets and scratches where it landed and nothing much beyond that.
