I like his movies but there's usually a lot to nag on too. Especially if one can get bothered about taking too much 'inspiration' from cult classics or is concerned about the often vague line between art and kitsch.

The Hateful Eight has some serious weak points too imo (also some superb scenes!). I definitely thought the first half was a lot better than the ending.
Pulp function and Jackie Brown are his best movies without a doubt.

Plastic surgery just makes people look fake and weird

Although I did see she did an interview and said it was makeup, not plastic surgery. But thats what they all say

I haven't seen all of his movies yet, but of those I've seen, the only ones I cared for were Jackie Brown and Inglorious Basterds. I don't get the obsession people have with Pulp Fiction. And I thought Kill Bill was just silly.

 

We bought a used washer this morning for $180 with a 6 month warranty.

My son will deliver it for us.

We have to call a scrap guy to pick up the old washer. The man we bought the used from didn't even want the old Maytag.

We got a Kenmore.

 

Glad to hear you're back and up and running--er, up and washing--again. I lived in an apartment that didn't have a washer and dryer when I was younger. Had to go to the laundromat. And I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
