Gonna spend the night sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.

After that, everything will be done. Home will officially be Christmasy, clean and ready for company.

My sister is coming tomorrow. And she thinks I have my shit together. So, I have to keep up appearances...

it is a glorious midwinter's eve. cold enough, and wind stormy enough, but with no more then a token of thick frost.
almost time for me to micro the m.r.e. turkey dinner. i think i'll wait for the stroke of midnight to do that,
as i had a wonderful turkey summer sausage kind of thing when i got back from shopping and i'm not quite hungry again yet.

I took a load of towels over to my son's washer. I've been putting off using his machine. My clothes, I can handle in the sink at home but towels, and the sheets I'm taking over later, are another story.

I just hate to use his machine. There are 6 people in his family. That machine gets a workout and I don't want it to break while I'm using it.

Anyway...yeah.

 

im thinking of going to the laudromat to do some heavy blankets...or maybe just paying a laundry service.

 

Last day of the year at work for me. Have to leave early to pick up my sister, then I have a Christmas party.

Needless to say, I've already kind of checked out for the day.

 

not last day here but slow enough to be .. NS will halt all operations 3pm xmas eve til 10pm xmas day. no trains .

 

i was hungry for egg mcmuffins so i go buy english muffins and suasage patties..already had eggs and cheese

anyway long story short breakfast ended up being coffee and peanut butter cups so maybe eggs mcmuffins tomorrow
