Everyone seems to be so stressed out despite that fact that the local economy is doing great.

Low unemployment, excellent wages, booming real estate market, yet I’ve never seen so many people running red lights,
ignoring basic traffic laws, and without a moment’s notice giving you the finger, or blowing their horn.

So basically if everyone was unemployed and in no real hurry to get anywhere they would be more inclined to obey the traffic laws

I'm going to try to get hubby involved in cleaning up my car, which he used to haul hay bales inside of.

My van has two sliding doors and a hatchback.

The inside of the door frames were black with dirt. I have never cleaned them and the car is about 12 years old. Yuck! They are very hard to clean.

Plus, hubby had to brush years of pines traw and dirt out of the top gap in the hatch before I could start to clean that.

We are talking about years of grossness.

Hubby was brushing up bits of hay that are woven into the upholstery/carpet in just the hatch. He hasn't even turned the shop vac on yet.

I heard him wondering to himself how he'd ever haul hay again.

Maybe he will remember what I said and put down a tarp or get the son to haul it in his truck.

    I swear...

^ well, less traffic also means less road rage...

but realistically, those are just the people who go to the gas station and put $2 in every day. don't ask me where they get $2 each day that they didn't have the day before.

    I'm wiped out.

Hubby worked on the hatch carpet with the brush and vacuum all afternoon.

I wiped down, and brushed the interior of the rest of the car.

The brushing and vacuuming still has to happen in the center of the car; and I have to wipe down the interior in the back, and clean the back window.

Of course, the exterior of the car has to be washed, too.

    I'm so exhausted.

I fed the animals and walked the dog.

Now all I have to do is to eat and to shower.
