Forest fires. They're everywhere in every direction. And I live in a valley. The smoke is so dense you can see sun spots, solar storms on the sun, in broad daylight without eye protection.

I thought about forest fire fighting this summer. But last winter and spring was very snowy and rainy so I didn't think fires would be so bad. I was wrong. I've been a firefighter without work because no fires happened. This would've been a good year to sign up and I'd have made more money.

They are pretty strange. Not sure if I like them or not.

I took hubby to the Michael's craft store with me. It was a good trip except when he had a little "spell" where he wanted scissors but he refused to let me go get them after we asked the worker where they were. He never would tell me why and he did threaten to throw a fit over it.

    Whatever.

He also got a little bitchy and claimed I'd upset him so that he wouldn't be able to eat today. I pulled in the drive-thru and got the chicken he wanted anyway.

    He just happily ate it.

We also went to Dollar General to get some regular stuff we needed.

I found out the son is home alone because he has to go to work tomorrow and his wife and girls went to visit her brother's family at the lake for an over-nighter.

    That's my Sunday report.

I genuinely give the silent treatment when I feel hard done by. =p

And I answer "I'm fine" when asked what's wrong. :d

Every now and then I believe I'm someone else. I have the best conversations with this other person. We get along great and we have so much in common. Having this other person to speak to, really gives me the chance to analyze myself and my thought processes. I've been to plenty of therapists; none of them have proven to be all that helpful as they seem to be bankrolled by the pill companies. Why talk to a therapist when you can talk to yourself. Who can you trust with confidential information more than yourself? Think about it for a minute.

I slept a long time and I slept hard. I woke up with my face swollen. It's that time of year with the ragweed.

Anyway, what was unusual was that I dreamed I was missing my mom. I haven't dreamed something like that in the 10 years she's been gone.

In the dream, I was at the beach she did actually take me to every year and I kept thinking that I saw her. The women I thought were her always had on sunglasses so it was hard to tell. I'd hurry over toward each one and she'd get lost in a crowd. In the dream, I knew my mother had passed and I kept telling myself it couldn't be her, but it just kept happening.

    Weird.

I had a big cry about missing my mother.

I had not, in the 10 1/2 years she's been gone, ever felt like I really missed her... until this evening.

Now, I have a headache from crying.

We had a full field of 37 rookies tonight in our development series. I got some really good screenshots.

Then we opened a server for the Thursday series, where the big boys race. There was only 6 others in the server had been cutting laps for 45mins.

I get in there, first lap out BOOM #1 fastest. I was faster than some on 20 lap tires and that's significant for Atlanta. If the fast boys that won all last series fail to join our league, I am going to be winning some races. :)

I'm talking to a paint designer in Ohio and just paid for a new skin on my truck. It'll be a purple and white Faygo grape sponsored Silverado. I can't wait to see what he comes up with. I gave him my Mt Dew scheme and said something similar to this, but purple hehe.
