What's Happening?

Half of what?

 

We were at the ballpark from 9:00 - 2:30. My grandson's team played two games during that time. Unfortunately, both games were lost so they are out of the tournament.

I saw an amazing team full of parents from Puerto Rico. They sang and chanted cheers with cowbell, drums, tambourines...they were awesome.

I had an encounter with a woman, younger than me, who was from around here somewhere. She had a nasty attitude and tried to start shit with me until her son's coach called her down. I got the last word and I was very kind about it.

It just disgusts me how nasty and rude and full of attitude some strangers will be with you.

This world won't ever heal.

Ugh, I was going to make coffee and then tell the story but I'm so far into it now...


Parents take canopies to the ballpark to watch tournaments. If you want to leave them in an out of the way place for a "team camp" in between games you can do that.

If you want to walk them all the way up to the bleachers and watch the game from under them, you can do that.

When games change over, you pick up your chairs and tents and move out of the way for the next team's parents to be seated at their game.

This bitch decided that, even though her fellow parents moved their two tents out of the way and let our parents up in place, she wasn't going to move hers. She was snugged right up in the corner between the dugout and the bleachers.

We stood and waited and waited until well after the others had moved out. I heard one of the other mothers ask her wasn't she going to move her canopy/tent. She told her no.

You only have to pick up the legs and walk then back about 10 ft. They aren't heavy.

No, this bitch thought she was going to sit up where our parents couldn't watch the game.

I stood beside her tent a few more minutes, hubby on his cane, and then I asked her, "Are you going to move so we can watch our game?"

She told me that she wasn't because she didn't like the way I'd asked her. I told her that this was the way it was done and that there was no need for her to get ugly about it.

Her son's coach came over and made her move her tent back.

She was all steamed up and huffy and puffy, wagging her tongue to the other mothers on her team, so I followed her to where she was carrying on. I touched her, ever so lovingly, on the arm as I spoke to her. I told her that my intention hadn't been to make her mad or to start anything, but that the other team always moves for the next game.

She kept slinging her head and telling me it didn't matter now - that it was over.

I touched her, held her, on the arm again and assured her that I certainly had not intended to sound rude.

Stupid bitch, sat behind me and cheered for our opponents the whole time.

Got jabbed in the eye with a pine needle today.... Ow.

 

I bet that hurt!

 

I almost forgot.

I saw a couple get married at the ballpark today.

One of my grandson's coaches officiated.

There's nothing in there, it's just a painful dry spot.

 

Maybe it will be better after sleep.

Mowers the grass.

Took my mom to radiologist just now. Got halfway and poured for the next 20 minutes or so. It sucks driving in that weather.

 

Do I have to waste all of my time digging out from some bull shit? lol

 

I forgot to ask him when I saw him earlier today. He is visiting with Dad so won't be home until later afternoon.

 

I get it now! I thought you'd done half of some drug or something...

I guess if he wasn't wearing an eye patch it's not as bad as it could be.

 

In two weeks I go to the beach with my son, dil, and granddaughters!

I do not like that the condo has a "no smoking on the balcony rule". I doubt they even let you smoke around the pool. This worries me. My vape does not satisfy me like a cigarette with coffee, after meals, before bed... Damn it.
