What's Happening?

and yeah, so a lot of my stuff isn't replaceable or well, it is just taking time to sortof realize what isn't, so I tend to overpack and still forget. like I said before, I just need to get in the habit.

 

again, i forgot what I wanted to say. oh! just how i seriously feel bad I keep forgetting my happy updates! I guess maybe I said this last time. I got distracted by the quotes...some that i even missed from last time!
Anyway, let's see,

well, all I will say is that I recently attended 2 pretty rad concerts. One was rained on and i got drenched. lol fun!

what else? I still have to contribute to the "summer pics thread" but i just don't know what to share yet

um.. well, presently, I'm being encircled by some fruit flies or baby flies. ugh! so it's THAT time of year again. So I probably should be cleaning house/doing fly prevention prep. Maybe I can prevent it this year. i dunno. I hate this shit worse than packing!! lol (yeah, house cleaning. haha nah kidding. stupid flies!)

but good stuff, good stuff. hmm...

 

We had the gnats again this year. I think they come in through the window a/c units. I just made a few of the vinegar traps to deal with them.

 

I picked up my grandson from the dentist this morning; then went to pick up my granddaughters from the eye doctor; then went and had the emission check done on the car and finally got a current tag decal on it.

During the afternoon, I watched the first 10 episodes of Lost while at my son's house.

 

You know what kind of stuff I really dislike?

Two people in the house - yourself and one other person who you know does not like the a/c blowing on them when they stand in front of the sink.

You come into the kitchen about 20 minutes after they've been in there and find the a/c turned off.

You say, "WTH? Why did you leave the a/c off?"

And they yell, quiet emphatically, "I Did Not Turn The Air Conditioner Off!!!"


Um... Yeah, you did.

 

I got set up on a blind date for tomorrow... was planning on going and enjoying it the best I could, kind of go through the motions a bit...

... I just recently talked to a woman I honestly considered my soul mate for the first time in 8 years... we only split up because she moved halfway across the country... it seems far away but we made a plan to go to an event together in October when she's going to be in the area... we talked about how we felt a little bit but not too in depth... now I have almost no desire to go out with this other woman tomorrow... decisions, decisions...

 

That's a bit of a prickly pickle.

 

Oh here it comes. The "I've been having several days of good emotion now it's time for you fall into depression pattern" feeling. Straight after a bath. WTF? I have a bath, get out and am mentally a different person noticeable clearly by my Laura asking me what's wrong when I was just trying to sit silently. =[

 

Had a eBay sale last night to a guy in Berlin Germany. Very cool dude too.

In an attempt to make myself feel a little happier I cooked a brisket.

 

Some friends of mine who have been together for almost a decade are going through a nasty breakup. I'm supposed to remain neutral and not pick sides. But...I don't know if that's possible. How do you be Switzerland?

 

oh, can you explain this a bit better? I mean a vinegar trap? (i understand vinegar repels them, but how do you make the trap?)







in other news-i'm not doing too good today. :/

 

^vinegar trap = some vinegar in a small jar with a layer of dish detergent on top, cover the jar with aluminum foil and poke small holes in it with a pin

The vinegar attracts them and the dish detergent traps thems

Of course its real. Just don't let your throat reflex. Then its basically just letting it go down as fast as gravity lets.
