We do have "thrift stores" here. The biggest are Goodwill Stores. They have been the topic of some news for under paying disabled employees. The other big one is The Salvation Army Thrift Stores; supposedly they are okay to donate to.

omg! where do these people find you?!! wow!
I have like no spam mail, and I've never seen anything like this...well, not in spam. [IMG] (ok, wait, that makes it sound like...ahhh, I just had a really rude couple of friends. well, they weren't friends long after that, I tell ya what! ;) )

(looks below) and laughs hysterically because I remember this comment from last year. Oh man! ...Oh shit! Ok, well, idk. Do folks talk about it on here? because I felt quiet left out once, being American you know, when a conversation practically consisted of nothing else but making fun of this. :p

I don't know where they find me! Now, I see why it's called "phishing". I don't even have a sister! [IMG]?

    ahhh, so what's up?

Well, I got to get out of the state for a few. (mini vacation). Visited with Sis and her family and Mom was there too. Saw the new house. Was nice, but of course the highlight was meeting my new nephew. Can't get enough of that kid(baby)! You can imagine leaving was hard too. Oh yes, also she has a cat. Omg, what a funny little munchkin! The "older sis", like me, and so I miss taking care of her too.
Well, I have my memories and lots of photos. Actually, ironically not too many of my nephew, but gah! you know the rest of the family doesn't stop taking them, so I guess that's why I didn't. Pics are one thing, but I'd rather be holding him. :)

My weak spot. I can't make jokes about me being girly about this because I can't. I can't hide my joy in this! ;)

Also, it's beautiful outside today. Yeah, it was beautiful and warm at my sister's and then I come home and it's cloudy and rainy here for two days, but it's finally looking nice again at the moment. I savored a few minutes out on the porch this morning. yay!

    ---
ah crap! one more thing! Dad was cleaning house again (i assume) and had us grab any old softball gear. So I took my mitt and a ball. I was so excited about this, except that I really hated it when I quit. Um, but so I have this sort of paperweight now, because if all of the stuff is being distributed, how is anybody going to like play with anyone else??!! I pick up the ball and just want to whack it at something, like I have the itch to (omg pitch! itch to pitch)...but I have no one to catch for me. As if I really did anyway. I quit for a reason. Girls were too rough. But as a result, I've got this "fast" arm, and like I felt like I had to hold back with people here and well, now it's just quite boring. haha Yes, foreigners, this American is bored with baseball. :p (not really. I'd actually love to walk down the block and catch a game this summer. We'll see!)

ah yes. scary actually! omg! I received a phone call once. forget the specifics. But they were accusing me of something, idk, not paying taxes or something, and I was asking them how they know me or, you know, trying to get info from them which they clearly didn't have and that's when I knew for sure not to tell them a damn thing!

also, i made a huge post above this one, so be sure to check it out ;)

are you totally stuck living where you are? i think a lot of times it's easier to find a decent place to live closer to work than it is to find a decent place to work closer to home.

Well I just bought a house so pretty stuck lol, I could have looked for houses closer to work but I really love where I live, its just a few minutes outside of a beautiful little city that makes these silly top top ten lists all the time..like top ten best main streets, top 10 urban parks, top ten foodie paradises, etc. Its a really nice place to live

Whereas my work is in another city that makes different lists..liike..top 10 for domestic violence, violent assaults, murder, that sort of thing

The economic opportunity is really good in my city and I dont think I'll have a hard time finding another job, i've just been lazy about looking until recently

^ yeah, in that case a new job might be the way to go.

obviously what your job is also makes a difference. like my job, there's one or two comparable positions in most towns, maybe 10 or 20 in a big city, which is why in my case it's often easier to move than to find a new job. but then, if you're in the fast food industry (i know you're not, i just chose that for illustrative purposes), there's probably 300 jobs in an average small town and 50,000 in a big city.

I had an hour long phone conversation tonight with my daughter.

She was crying in regard to issues with her father and her best friend not being a part of her upcoming wedding due to their religious beliefs conflicting with her happiness.

She's such a loving person. I wish those two loved her back as much.

I just got a dose of reality and it stings. :/ I kinda knew it, but I pushed for proof, and well, I got it. ahhh, idk. It's ok. It's out there. Nothing's changed except that I'm just embarrassed on top of it all.
    so, nothing new! lol :D

seriously though, is there really nothing new??!! I missed out on my sun today. Well, it's there, maybe, but it shifted away from the porch, so now I actually have to walk to get some. lol (lay-Z! :p or just preoccupied and well, it's still kinda cold-ish too! idk mostly preoccupied)

oh i was out. but not more than 5 minutes. Some dude pulled up by the house and I ran back in. If they're gone now, I'll go back out. (guess I don't like people :p) I wish I could just sit out there with nobody around. I've heard of folks doing this! going out into a forest or something, getting lost. I used to. but it just ain't safe anymore for it! ah! :/

to your other post, this is how I'm feeling right now. bahh! well, not completely, but the "girls don't cry" part...folks don't deserve my tears though! bahh ok, so enough! Will try the outside thing again. :D you should too! ;)
