I trimmed my hair. Boy, did it need it! It doesn't look shorter, either. I just got the dead ends off the had been in about for two years while I was growing out the pixie cut.

    Hair is happy!

Coffee, cleaning some coils to reuse in the vape, and brushing my hair with my new brush. That's what's happening right now.

Dropped off my mom at the airport. Had overpriced coffee (it was so good though).
Finished this paper I'm writing yay.
I am thinking about having a slice of pizza, even though it's so late.
I'll probably watch an episode of Criminal Minds, take a shower, and go to bed.

Oh and I treated myself to a new USB stick.

    I'm a real big baller

I'm home from my son's house and am going to make a little dinner and straighten around the house a little bit.

When it gets cooler I might got pick up sticks and limbs in the yard.

Cooking dinner, enjoying my new work schedule. I've been home for almost two hours, would normally just be getting home now! I have time to cook and garden after work now, this rocks

It's unfortunate that so many people are forced to waste whatever luxury of free time they have waiting in traffic or on the public transport system. In the big cities it can take people hours to move 25km. When people want 8hrs sleep and 9hrs at work but then spend 2-4hrs in travel to only have an hour or so quality time at home, without the chores and without the shower and wind down methods... it's just unfair.

It really is, the commute here isn't as bad as in bigger cities but our population is growing rapidly and I'm seeing a huge difference in the traffic amd commute time from when I first started my job 3 years ago. It really takes a toll on one's qualify of life, not just the loss of time but the stress of traffic too. Road rage is no joke

I'm currently looking for a new job just to get closer to home, my results are narrowed down to within 5 miles of where I live on indeed.com lol. I currently work in a neighboring city, it started out as like a 35 minute commute which wasn't horrible but with construction projects and population growth its more like 50 minutes now, its awful. I refuse to consider any job that's more than like a 15, maybe 20 minute commute now, it just isnt worth it

Can you do night shift work? Night shift allocates all the time in the world lol you get all of it done and when you drive home everyone is going to work. All the shops are open and not busy. I really enjoyed my 11pm-7am bar shift. :) and the bar work was such a social environment that when I got and home and on weekends I didn't want to see anybody, it was all my personal time and so much of it.

Might not believe me but I was so educated doing that job. I read on the job because from 4am club was closed and I watched security cameras, sooo I really just read lol. I watched documentaries and read more when I got home. That's where someone resurrects a thread on here and I read what I wrote and I'm like damn girl how you even think of that? That can't be you it's too well written and makes far too much sense. :D

My son hates working nights but there are different logistics when you have 4 children.

Next time I make plans with someone and they are terribly late, I'm just gonna get up and leave. Fucking disrespectful people.
Mood is already ruined, fuuuuck them

I could probably do something like working in a bar third shift because its interactive and doesnt really get boring. A third shift desk job on the other hand sounds like an 8 hour shift would feel like a week lol

I've had jobs like that before where you have free time to read or study or do whatever you want, those are the best

This is every single friend of mine, I feel your pain. I have to force myself to be late sometimes because I know if I'm punctual I'll be waiting 30 minutes for someone else to show up

My dad's family use to try to play tricks on one of my uncles and his wife, telling them an hour and half earlier than everyone else because they were always late to family gatherings.

My daughter is late like that, too.

You know these people can be fairly punctual or they wouldn't be able to keep a job.

I got a £689 council tax rebate. This will go towards building my new PC which requires specifications to run Cubase Pro, an industry standard music-making software package.

Also today was warm enough to hang my laundry outside.

Tomorrow I'm going to pop my application for voluntary work into the Oxfam shop. I don't know if you have these in US but they're like a thrift store and all the profits go to charity.

Tourism can make or break some towns.

I think about oil spill scares, etc. in regard to coastal towns, and how many thousands of jobs would be lost if the beaches became unusable.

Historical places have a more sure grip on tourism, I suppose.
