What's Happening?

The white cake is made and in the refrigerator with the strawberry jello poured on it.

I think I'll make the fresh strawberries into a strawberry syrup to put on it. I can't decide if I should put the strawberry syrup on first or the Cool Whip. I think the Cool Whip should probably go on last. Who knows, I might mix them together and then put them on the cake.

I decided to just make a chocolate pudding pie with Cool Whip on top instead of the layered dessert with the brownies in it.

Copperhead??!!! Wild! I finally spotted one (just an ordinary garden snake, i think) in our yard the other day. They're around, but it's rare that I find one. I'm finally not so scared anymore.

now cakes- surprise surprise! I love strawberry too!! I like chocolate as well, but I'm very particular about it. Like, I have to be in a mood. Generally speaking, strawberries are always good! Blueberries too! I'd take a blueberry or strawberry dessert over chocolate almost any day!

Now then, back to being depressed because I haven't much re-learned to bake after switching my diet. (hehe lazy and depressed.)

I'm glad I decided to syrup those strawberries. They weren't very juicy by themselves.

The strawberries are starting to look really gross as they are cooking. I hope I have some red food coloring.

 

The chocolate pie is finished too.

All I have to do is top them with cool whip before I head out the door tomorrow.

 

We just got delivered a big online grocery shop and have food pouring out everywhere.

 

I need to start doing grocery delivery, I hate going grocery shopping.

 

We've considered on-line grocery, but the hitch is we are both very picky with our fruits and vegetables selection. We do alot of squeezing, sniffing and color checking.

 

Same, there is a local farm that will also deliver baskets of fresh produce every week, i've been considering this for a while but you have to buy for the entire year at once and I always miss the deadline

 

That sounds interesting.

 

I'm about to take my desserts next door and enjoy some Easter time with the family.

We had pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips, and my desserts. That pork was awesome.

It lists McDonalds scrambled eggs as more than double that...what the fuck are micky Ds doing to their eggs to double the calories, and why?

 

My family doesn't really change their holiday meals with each holiday. For easter we have roast and ham instead of turkey, but that's the only difference

Otherwise we have way too much starch, a few vegetables, and way too much desert
