What's Happening?

In the Waffle House in my town and a couple of close-by towns, they have been robbed as well as had Big Fights. My fb crime pages LOVE to put up on their regular police call postings when there is a fight or whatever.

The fights at the different Waffle Houses were "big enough" to call the law, and I'm sure there has been a couple of shootings at a Waffle House that is closest (say 5 miles) to me.

 

Yeah, I think I've only seen one Waffle house in my entire life! Then again, I can only recall one IHOP as well. Hahahaaa omg! I just remembered it was a Waffle House, I think (ok, so maybe Ive seen two), but when I was a kid, my Ma had totally freaked out on some rude woman talking about having us kids in a diner at such a late hour (we were traveling on vacation). Well, of course I was mortified at that age, but also found it hilarious because my Mom is typically such a laid back and quiet woman. Wooah lol don't ever say anything rude about a mother's kids. They lose it! Haha awe!

I always thought it was that ihops are the northern version of waffle house.
I never saw a waffle house in nj and don't see anything but waffle houses once I leave to go to delmarva.

 

The waffle house is primarily a southern affair

 

We have both around here.

 

I have my own waffle maker but it doesn't get them nice and crispy more just like a pancake texture then you need to use the grill to make them crispy. It's a cheap one... =[

 

Waffle house is amazing at 2 am when you just want to sober up. I dont think I've ever been to a wa ho sober during the day lol

 

Before I go to the grocery store, I've got to decide what kind of cakes I want to make for Easter.

I'm going simple since I cracked my ribs.

Maybe next year I'll make some extravagant, outlandish Easter desert.

 

strawberry jello cake sounds good.. with yellow dream whip..

I decided to make a strawberry jello poke cake with cool whip and strawberries on top; plus, a brownie and mousse chocolate trifle

 

The cats were playing with a Copperhead in the front yard. It was about a foot long. The Devil killed it.

 

^^ I just put on 10 lbs. Looking at this!

 

I know!

I probably shouldn't make both but I'm afraid somebody will be disappointed if there isn't chocolate.

 

We always have a chocolate and a non chocolate dessert just so everyone is happy.

 

And those who like both are twice as happy!

Man that strawberry cake looks amazing!

 

My grandmother use to make one of the strawberry poke cakes every time one of us granddaughters had a birthday.

 

Thats cool. I wish my grandmother would have made that. I don't think I've ever had it. But I know it's good. I love strawberry.
