I just got home from the two morning softball games the triplets played.

It's 95F with a heat index of 108F.

The will play again in 30 minutes, and then my son will call to let us know when the next games are.

We're letting the dogs out and feeding the kitten before we go back for some evening games.

The clothes I had on are hanging up to dry the sweat out of them before I put them on to go back.

I know! I was just talking about this.

I took the dogs out expecting it to be cool because, well it's nearly midnight.

Nope. It's 85Fucking Degrees.

Breakfast with my Father and Sister today and then I need to mow the backyard...


It should be at least 10 degrees cooler today, but those weather fuckheads have no idea what they are talking about... It was 96 degrees here yesterday.

 

It is going to be 99 here today and probably in the upper 80s tonight so we never get a break.

it hasnt been too horrible for me this year. I havent been able to tolerate the heat very well the last few summers but this summer for whatever reason i've barely noticed it.

Getting ready to catch the train.

 

It was wet and cool here all through the month of May, then went straight into excessive heat with only one moderate day in between. :-( It's been a terrible spring for any kind of outdoor activities. There's even an air quality alert for the NC mountains this weekend. Sometimes smog and ozone drifts in all the way from the steel mills and power plants of Chattanooga and northern Alabama.

 

Heading out to a wedding in a half hour....scratch that. There is no way my in law and nephew will be ready by then...I can here my sister yelling at them already.

 

Here its cloudy but warm.

I caught the train.

 

I was right...they aren't ready...it was my nice that complained though....its still early though I am sure my sister will chime in. Its not a family gathering without an annoying argument after all.
