That is interesting. I read about the dumb rabies, and think if the fox here has it, it is the dumb rabies, as he seems unusually friendly and not aggressive at all according to Stan.

Yeah, healthy, indeed...If he had 4 easy pickin chickens.....I can see why, too. They were so fat, and I loved them...:(
I would see them every day on my jogs...and they never fleed when they saw me and the dogs coming....I guess they would have been easy for the fox to make many meals out of.

Jessie, or Jesse, as i called him, the artist guy friend I had, lived in that house before, and he always had chickens. I would ask him what happened every year to his chickens. he would tell me either he ate one or the fox got one and then another. Fox always got many of his chickens....He moved away last year....:(....and new people are there now, and I don't know these new people yet....but it is strange they also have chickens like jessie did. I miss Jessie....:(

When a male Fox pup comes of age he is told to leave and start his own family... He's no longer wanted by the birth family. Sometimes they have to be out during the day while trying to find their new space. Sick or not a wild Fox is not a "cute little dog" they are scrappers and will take on a human if cornered.

The one I "almost had" out in CA took an interest in me as a pup and I was going to let it develop at the Fox's discretion... Not mine.

The fox was not spotted today......but it is bright and sunny today and not cloudy and dark like it has been.......when animals are less likely to hide on dark days...so hopefully, it went back to the woods......I will keep you posted on it....crossing my fingers that it is gone away, where it can be more safe, as well.

I was talking with some of the blokes in the yard, having just got back from a three-day trip.
I happened to mention to them that I can levitate...BIG mistake.
Instantly, they were ripping into me,giving me all sorts of ridicule.

I didn't bother answering their silliness though.....I just rose above it.....

There are days when I get up early (for me) which is 8:30 to 9am. Then I don't nap or anything...and you think I'd be able to go to sleep around 11 to 12, right? NOOO is the answer to that.

Lots of days when I've gotten up "early" and not napped, I'm looking at the clock at 3am, 4am, and whether I want to or not, I'm turning off the light at 5am. Unless I have to do stuff that next morning, and then that's a LOT of fun (NOT).

Nap isn't a good technical term for what I do when I have to lay down... I don't really sleep, but I do have to lay down.

Hubby doesn't have to report for jury duty any more this week. Yay! The case he was there for was worked out on the courthouse steps, actually in front of him because he got there early. He went and signed in, waited a few minutes, then was dismissed.

I've napped for the last two or three days. I usually don't but I've been trying to fight off an infection, I think.

I must tell you how very much I enjoyed all of those pictures! All of them!!! I love your place...and I was especially fond of the very last one showing the path to your son's house with Bane in the picture. He is a very special catboy.

Finally...your hardworking fertility goddess made me really :D

That rain disappeared off radar before it got here.

Now, accuweather says we're getting "rain in 43 minutes".

    Yeah right.
