What's Happening?

My place is a tip.My buddy said if I clean it today he will come over and give me an eighth of weed.There's the motivation.I'm gonna sleep for a couple of hours and then attack this mess with a vengeance.I need to prepare.

I never felt coffee gave me energy.
It's more of a social thing.
And it smells nice and homely.

 

And I have an annoying friend who instagrams her coffees on a daily basis.
And she always spells it "coffie".

 

Dutch spelling is 'koffie'.

It doesn't give me an noticable energy boost, but it does improve concentration in some way. Not to a miraculous degree. And it helps waking me up in the morning.

 

my grandma had a coffee mug with about 30 different languages word for coffee on it.
that is just a guess because i only knew 3 or 4 of them actually said coffee. most were close in pronunciation though.

 

Yeah it is with the dutch word. In english there is some kind of H sound between the c and o. You know what i mean? That's missing in the dutch pronunciation. First part is pronounced like in the word cup. Second part is exactly the same. The 'ee' sound is in dutch usually spelled like 'ie'. Confusing for english speakers of course, who at first instance always read it like the 'y' sound as in the word why.

 

i agree with some of that, are you taking into account different accents? a boston accent and a georgia accent will say any word including coffee completely different

there is a town several miles from here called chincoteage (sp) those people supposedly speak english and i can only understand every couple words

 

I was thinking of the general pronunctiation by english speakers. But yeah some accents have the H sound in it more heavily. The lady in King of Queens comes to mind as an example.

 

oh yeah, her voice is annoying...but accurate.

Had to do errands today and did manage to get them done. Mia did not have a late class so she tagged along and we had lunch out. Nice to spend time like that with her and catch up on all that is going on in more detail than when she is on the fly.

I think I am going to try to have an early (for me) night. Couldn't hurt.

 

We'll be going to the doctors in about 5hrs to hear our results.
When we called yesterday afternoon just to see if they had the results they said that they did have the reports. They never called us so cross fingers that's a good sign. Usually you get the "please come in to chat results". Unless they already had seen that we had an appointment booked.

I don't know. I'm not as nervous now, I feel very anxious I have my stomach up in my throat somewhere but I feel excited to just know it's nothing. Or I hope it's nothing.

If she's in the clear I'm going to have the hugest party. I haven't told anyone. You guys are the only ones that really know, not even my sisters, not even daddy. I told a friend on Facebook, that's about it. Few people at work they don't know what but they just knew I wasn't going to be in because of my girl this week. I said I'm not working I won't focus. Lol.
