I took 1/2 of a muscle relaxer this afternoon instead of 1/4.

It hit me right in the eye muscles. I'm not sleepy but my eyelids are heavy.

    I won't do that again.

It is closing in on 4am. Getting close to our appointment now. I'm starving. I think I've lost some weight just by burning calories in stress. My Fitbit says my heart rate is not the norm in comparison to other weeks lately, I'm very much more anxious. Though my reading a good 62bpm, I can feel that anxiety pull on my lungs.

We just read a PDF about fibrosis and the mouse breast. This was the best example of non cancer that we have read that closely resembles what we feel in her. Said to come quite quickly or suddenly.

C'mon world, give us the mouse. I want the mouse.

I've yet to really ask or talk to me deities about this. I don't want to say something I'll regret.

Okay guys. We got in a lot earlier and it's done.

We have more questions now than we did when we went in but for the time being I'm positive about this based off one simple thing.

    They didn't perform a biopsy.

We had three doctors check and the end consensus was they really couldn't see anything. The word "fine" was used. They checked her armpit for a while and I was like.. it's not there.. but they obviously checking for something?

They just couldn't find anything that stood out to them because there was no biopsy.

I don't know how it works but I think if I was to dissect and interpret this, we were to go for ultrasound first, this would show exactly where they need to perform the biopsy? They couldn't find anything concerning and pretty much said "I think it looks okay/fine" and we went to reception who stamped the piece of paper and we were on our way.

So what happens now? And why was there no biopsy of the paper we had specifically asked for it?

Well I can only take that as like I said just then, that there wasn't anything they were concerned about to take the biopsy?

So this must be good news for us I hope. I'm expecting doctor to come back to us and will arrange time on Friday for an appointment.

We are just a bit lost I guess. Maybe swept up in good news but we aren't really sure. We just feel... yeah. Lost.

I read that the radiologist which was one of the three doctors would supervise and observe the scans and imaging. He's the one that said he thought it all looked good. Just we can feel the lump. We hope I guess that it's relatively clear on the scan that would suggest cyst over something with density.

    -crosses fingers-

    :) we are hopeful too.

I'd only be upset IF they overlooked the biopsy altogether like, they didn't realize my doctor wanted one. Though it says in on paper. Then I'll be furious.

At the same time we've walked out and we are gone now. If she was due for a biopsy I think they'd probably have tried to contact us by phone call now asking where we are?

If was all just odd. It left us feeling more nervous, but only because it'll take more time to come all the back and more time to hear results.

Just call the doctor and ask if you need to get the biopsy before coming back in on Friday.

I would think that a reputable doctor that's truly doing their job should probably pick that up on the results lol. And I shouldn't even need to make the appointment. I'm making on the basis that I think she'll get the results in two days.

She said she would most likely hear in two days so make appt. Friday. I always thought that was a bit odd. Waste of time and money to come all the way out to hear she doesn't have them.

To me a good doctor would read the results of the test and wonder where the other results are for the biopsy and or determine if it didn't need to be done. They would also call me when they have the results and then book in an appropriate time to see them.

Isn't this what the reception girls do? Lol. Just useless. And clueless.

I think they can sometimes rule it out with an ultrasound and so no biopsy is required

Like when I had my ultrasound they found a calcified tumor, there would be no way to rule out cancer without a biopsy

But i think an ultrasound should be able to detect a fluid flled cyst, or whatever. What they're really looking for is something hard and dense, so if they didnt find that with an ultrasound she should be good.

I dunno though, my doctors were really great to me and explained things really well. If you guys walked out of there with any confusion at all I would call and see if someone can just explain it all a little better..

Yes. :D she had an ultra sound.

I was probably rambling a little bit.

Okay so, three doctors came in. The first one concentrated on the whole area so everything, underarm and all. He never said much.

The second doctor came in and was female. She only looked at the under arms and arm pit area but with the first doctor by her side she was saying "i can see one here and here and here" etc. though I'm not sure what she was actually referring too whether she was looking for blood vessels or nodes or whatever.

Then there was 8mins of silence but I could overhear a little parts of the conversation from the office and it went similar to this "these are fine, this is this, this is fine". But I wasn't sure what he was referring to either. I was hopeful that he was talking about what he was seeing, but I had doubts when I over thought the situation where I began to think maybe he was saying the actual scans and images were "fine" to the younger doctor.

    Then who I think the main doctor came in, the radiologist. He scanned over the areas that our initial doctor had specified. He didn't take very long. He then looked at my partner and said something very close to;

"I think these look okay, we'll write our reports and correspondence with your health care doctor, you can head back out to reception".

    And that was it.

There are some people on here who have interesting opinions. But they share the same ones over and over. I guess it's not surprising being that this place is liberal when it comes to drug use/laws but I think some people are just naturally inclined to not have the ability to share more than one thought per subject.
