got an Italian sub from an Italian restaurant last night. i just asked for extra oil and vinegar.
got the sub and knew something was wrong right away. bit into it and i can say they put extra oil and vinegar on it so i cant complain about my order. but they put the O&V on the meat. that stuff is supposed to be on the bread so it soaks in and makes the bread taste good and not be dry. instead i had this awesome meat taste in the middle and dry shitty bread on the outside. if the sandwich wasnt so small i would have just ate the meat. but i was hungry.
not so small that it was a ripoff but small enough that i will never get a sub there again.

heard many people have problems...all the people that were stubborn and insisted that is their name or the only name they use have always got their way.

My nephew's girlfriend got stuck with "Gary".

She changed it as a joke one day and now it has to stay in their record but she got it back to Keri. I don't know. It confuses me.

Her name is Keri and she said every morning when she gives the Starbuck's order for coffee, at the drive-through, the repeat the order and call her "Gary"...every day.

A friend of a friend was born to hippie parent's who were ethically against giving your child a surname.

As you can imagine, her life has been a living nightmare of Bureaucratic clusterfucks.

I'm stuck with Ged for a year now.

I don't think I want to change again.

It's a character in Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea trilogy.

He defeats the Dark Shadow being by finding out its hidden name.

There is a story about Geddy Lee from Rush also.

His name was Garry but his Mum was from Eastern Europe. She couldn't pronounce "Gary" so it became "Geddy" instead.

Yeah I don't get it. Basically middle name I use on Facebook is fake of course it's like just an alias. They say well that's not your real name and say yeah take a look at my friends list a good 20% aren't even real names, their nicknames. I also said if you browse through my photos you'll even see me wearing a shirt with that alias like at a hens party. And I also said you'll see me chatting to people in messenger and an active profile. Anyway. All sorted. :)

there are no real names, only mundane ones your parents inflicted on you that you have to sign checks with unless you get it changed legally,
but then there are the names others want to call you, if you know enough others who want to call you,
and then there's what you want to call yourself and be called.

i like themnax. if i ever wanted to make it sound human, which is very rarely, i'd make it jason themnax.
if i want to make it longer and include a title, i'll go by themnax of lananara, low person of the council of low persons of the universe, and symbol of the council of low persons of lananara,
which means essentially lananaran ambassador to the galactic council. the term low person is actually an honorific, comparable to elected public servant.
none of which matters since my having been born on this earth was in an officially unofficial capacity.

testosterone IS politics, and 2/3rds of what's wrong with it. but we all do have egos.
like emotions, they're something to enjoy without trusting.

there are worse things then unusual names.
ones that are so common, you're never sure if its you they want, or half the rest of the people in the room.
my mundane furst name is one of those, which is why i pretty much never mention it on line,
and where possible, avoid it in real life as well.
my mundane last name isn't so bad, with its unusual spelling, but its also a color of bluish green and a subspecies of duck,
translated from its hessian origen, it also means page, like the page of a book, or more likely a mid evil gopher.

There was a time that I thought of having my name legally changed but now, I find it's pretty convenient. It separated who knows me from where and how.

I know it's a pretty piss poor achievement but today was the first day I did not touch alcohol for a while. I said to myself no. Stop drinking all that fizzy gas drinks. I did have a can of sugar free energy though. But just water otherwise... and some orange juice boxes. :D so I'm just substituting one for the other really lol. But not really either at the same time. Because I would have had those juice boxes as well as the bourbons. and the beers.
