Here's my scribbling and my final 10 chosen runes for my cue. All individually studied for the last two weeks. Next step is to catagorize similarities. I'll most likely use 2-3 bind runes to encompass all 10. Does anyone else find they write differently/neat/messy pending on the pen you use? Lol. My first line, Fehu, looks like a pre school but it was a fat black tip. The other lines though scribble and messy to me look quite neat. I used a really fine tip pen though. :D

I don't know what I've done to my arm but boy is it sore. My right arm. I must have slept on it weird the other night. Today it was hurting but now after a rest is much worse. Picking up a kettle was so much pain.

I also don't actually feel all that great. Feel weak and sick like..

That's a really cool project, Irminsul!

Youtube search for Gary Crowley to give you some pointers on getting rid of that arm pain.

I read the book Casting the Runes by M. R. James years ago, but alas it provided no clues or insight into your scribbling's [IMG]

That's probably a good thing to be honest. When it's all done I'll explain. :D

I didn't go out in the rain today and take down my xmas lights.

I've got them burning still tonight.

I usually put up some white, or white and blue, across the front porch during January.

I may have to do something different unless I can piece together the small string of white lights and the long string. The string that is long enough has a section out.

I'm glad we could talk about it here. ;) My problem is solved thanks to this discussion.

    You guys Rock!

I'll miss all of the Christmas or whateverholidayyoufancy decor. It's such a nice little piece of childhood magic as you cruise through the neighborhoods.

I keep twinkle lights of some color up on the porch year round.

I've found that it's easier to get through the Winter Duldrums if I decorate with white and greenery during January. I like to keep snowflakes and snowmen, ice cicles, etc. up in January.

Then February you can do some red and hearts.

I think I'm turning into my grandmother. Mom said she lived from holiday to holiday and family birthday to family birthday. Maybe she suffered a little depression too.

Hopefully, you can look one of those up and watch them any time you want to. I know it's not the same as watching it during the season, though.

New Years Day is my favorite holiday of the year. It is a melancholic introvert's dream - cold, maybe dreary if i'm lucky (i was really lucky today), quiet, cleansing, a very introspective holiday.

I like Christmas but i'm always happy to clean out the Christmas clutter and start fresh
