The Gulf station I have my car serviced at was robbed at gunpoint which is extremely rare considering the city I currently reside in is statically one of the top 5 safest cities in the country.

It was strange seeing the owner being interviewed on the local news. I guess for a time in the past it was the number 1 safest city in the country for a 3 out of 4 year stretch.

I am extremely disappointed with trumps picks for the cabinet. I guess I shouldn't be surprised i guess it was hard to imagine he would make himself look worse or actually give credit to the people who called him a racist.

 

Got done trimming over a pound of Sugar Black Rose, Chernobyl, Blue Dream, Fire OG, and some Afghan strain I can't remember. Been a long day

 

ran out of likes, thats only the third or fourth time that ever happened.

i just realized i need to do a load of wash if i go to my sisters for thanksgiving, i mean i have to do one either way but i will need to pack some clean clothes...

 

So in my long absence from work I will be attempting to come to an understanding with Tai Chi.

 

Team captain just texted me and told me my game is at 1 today. I can swear that last week they said we have two weeks off.
Then he said I have to play defense because one of our guys is injured. OK so I played off the seriousness of my injury but he didn't even ask if I was able to play.

I guess it makes sense playing this week though. Most families are more likely to still be coming home on the Sunday after turkey day

 

We spent about 10 hrs at the ballpark yesterday with the triplets. They weren't playing well. I think they are over softball for this season, honestly.

Hubby started having his little seizure things and we had to come home early. It was a long walk to the car but my son and I got him out there without him falling so that was good.

He overtook his trammadol. He says that caused it, coupled with lack of sleep.

IDK

He had them a few days ago too and said he hadn't over-medicated that day.

Today's agenda is to go gas up the car and pick up my prescription.

 

This weekend i discovered the magic of a french press. I'll never go back to drip coffee again. Also found a sweet buttercream creamer. I usually drink it black but this stuff is delicious. I'm entering a new era in coffee!

Wife did the first lesson in Qi Gong with me today. My balance is quite off. She flows better no wonder she feels connection with water. Led me to a thought. Consciousness is like water or Qi in being inherently flowing and knowing when not to. We simply get caught up in the still moments and forget the simple with complex conceptualization

I have electric heaters but they suck.

This is why I like summer. It might be hot but jump in a cold shower sit around nude and I am comfortable. No need to decide between money and heat.

 

I've been using an Aeropress for a couple of years. I love it.

Quite honestly I've never heard of a coffee press. Drip and boil straight that's all I am familiar with. Dad introduced me to his "trail" coffee at the tender age of 8

 

This is my Aeropress. The cylinder sits right on top of your coffee cup.

 

This looks interesting, i may have to order one of these too

 

I've been reseaching various coffee brew methods tonight lol, i had no idea there were so many

Now i want a turkish pot..well, really an entire turkish coffee set, they're so beautiful..also a moka pot, the aeropress..so many ways to drink coffee, so little time to drink it
