Hubby's niece posted this. It's Charlotte in Code Orange on Friday and Code Red on Wednesday.

I started my christmas shopping this morning.

I've bought one gift; and I'm awaiting an answer on the second gift that I'll buy.

    Ho Ho Ho. It's on.

It has cleared up a bit here but only because the wind changed.

I heard on the news yesterday that we may be dealing with wildfires through spring. Yikes! Hopefully we will have a rainy spring at least

    I dont know.

I've only had the flu once in my lif, about 7 years ago. I decided to get the flu shot after that. This is the first time in 6 years i've decided not to get the shot.

I havent really made up my mind how i feel about them but I'm not sure they're necessary for people with strong immune systems

Well damn, now I want spaghetti.
    I am craving bolognese.
I could make some tomorrow, but that would require buying meat on Friday, which I probably won't do.

    Yes, it's for school.

Anyways, I am graduating this year yay.
I only have a few more classes.
And I've been working a lot for the past year too, and my trip in DC is for work (I'm just assisting someone, and it's more of a seminar).

All in all, I have no idea what I want to do with my life, tbh.

Maybe I'll try to be pretty and nice in USA and find me a nice husband.

    Flu Shots...

I have had one or two some time in the last 10 years.

My son gets them free at work.

I remember a few years ago when he got one and my grandson got one. I don't think anybody else got one that year. Both of them got the flu.

Usually, all his girls get one; as well as my grandson.

    The adult women usually don't.

    Hubby probably should but doesn't.

I think it may be semi-important to have if you're somebody who is around throngs of people, indoors, during flu season.

Then the formula is hit or miss because the virus is constantly mutating and the vaccine doesn't stay ahead of that.

I can't remember my Goodreads password or the email account I used.
It was years ago, and I've had a different email for like two years now.

I guess I could sign up again.

I don't really know if they are good, bad or useless. I started getting them in 2004 when Mom went into a nursing home. I did not want to be responsible for taking anything contagious there. I still get them every year since I am taking care of Dad. My insurance covers the shots or I might consider not getting the shots. I don't know if I will continue to get them after Dad is gone.

There have been past years when they have said, after the fact, that the shot was not as effective as it could have been. I have never had the flu so I don't know if the shot is working for me or not.

    The same with me, Specs.

I use to get the shot when I was taking care of my mom.

I might have had one or two when all 4 of the grands were babies but not in a long time.

You are very fortunate to have never had the flu!

I know I want one but I may have to go back out so I will wait until my chores are done.

Just got home and thought I heard a chicken clucking. I get close to the Bush and realized it's coming from above me.
It was a squirrel with a black Walnut in its mouth. That was the loudest squirrel I ever heard in my life.
