    bone marrow! people eat it, put it in soups and stuff

    the marrow you're talking about...looks like a cucumber or zucchini or something. i'm not sure i know what it is. so....what is it?:p

    Anyway, I searched on Wikipedia it said its a variety of squash or large courgette/zucchini.
