I could relate to both of them

 

i wonder if there's a hairless breed or one could have evolved naturally in some parallel universe or simply on a world in another solar system.
because that's just almost exactly what there was a little critter in one of my dreams looked like. he was a little bit bigger but still smaller then a cat.
he was the pet/companion of someone i didn't know well but had met several times in some sort of professional context, possibly to do with geology or meteorology.

 

I had a hamster once that lost all its hair, the vet injected him with something and it grew back, maybe the same sort of thing,
