In my experience, if its not freshly washed, a "normal" vagina has a faint b.o. smell. If there is a very strong b.o. smell or a rotten fish smell (both of which I have experienced) there is a problem and the girl should go to the gyno. If a normal vagina was recently washed it just smells like whatever fragrance was in the soap.

Someone here almost nailed it. As a woman, I would like to say that in general it is a very light musky smell with a twang of sweetness. However, depending on what a female eats, the smell could be stronger. I know when I go on one of my "can't get enough fish" binges, I tend to have a stronger smell that does seem a bit fishy. That being said, a man's sperm does the same thing, as well as the precum. I've tasted some pretty bitter man lube and I've tasted lots of yummy sweet stuff.
