What's a tomboy to you?

i like this. Id call them down to earth women. Tomboy is just a 50s-60s term. "One of the guys" is good too.

One of my favorite things to do is drink a beer and watch the football game

As to what a tomboy is, to me it just means a girl that likes to be outdoors and isn't afraid of getting dirty and doesn't feel she has to be stereotypically "feminine".

I'm kind of a tomboy in that I love outdoorsy things, but I also like girly things, so I don't know.

And to the person who says no guys are attracted to tomboys, you are just ridiculous. Maybe you aren't but it is so absurd to say that no guys are. Have you never noticed that different people are attracted to different things? You really need to get out more.

 

My point was that girls trying to run with the guys to get the attention of guys is a bad strategy.

It's kinda silly to get upset over a neg rep.

 

I think every girl/woman has a bit of a tom boy in her, which I find great.
But if it goes overboard it can be quite unattractive, for me at least.

 

I think its even sillier to get upset over a post. A neg rep is like someone saying "fuck you" to your face. A post is just a post.

Dude you seriously need to get out more. Its a personality some girls have, theyre not trying to get any attention from guys. Thats what they like to do in general.

the girls who are trying to get attention from the guys are the bimbos, careless, the one who wear a shit load of make up and say oh oh hehehe go bears!! but then turn around and say "brian urlacher is a great quarterback!"

It's funny how he thinks all guys are exactly the same and like exactly the same thing. I always thought guys were individuals and that they are attracted to all different kinds, including athletic girls.

Tomboys can certainly be annoying too. I was thinking they are better than girly girls for me, but they are NOT.

I'm more the mommy type with a little bit of don't give a fuck anymore. I drink, laugh, play cards, like hunting and shooting. But sports, vehicles, video games and mafia movies bore me to death. No one is gonna drag me through mud pit on a sled, even though I don't give a fuck about my shoes, hair or dignity. I don't wanna get hurt. If dave wants to watch football all day, that's cool. I'll tinker in the kitchen. Because I like to. I am not allowed to handle power tools of any sort and don't really want to. I'll hurt myself and my brain doesn't work like that. My mom and sited are very much tomboys and I'm not. But I don't want to go shopping or talk about babies either.
