What would you defend with your life?

I would give my life for my husband, my mother and my father... and I would do ANYTHING I can (not killing myself or anything), for my little doggie

 

This sounds like a question charles manson would ask.

Why not figure out a way to defend something without the need to sacrifice ones life.
What situation would cause you to sacrifice your life? Could you instead work on ways to think about handling situations for better out comes rather than focusing on absolutes?

It also makes me think of what a recruiting agent for the military asks.

If society REALLY went to war against illegal drugs happened, I would give my life defending the drug dealers, drug users.... not that I do drugs - its the principal of the thing.

 

yeah i agree with this.

ex. a dude has a gun and is about to shoot someone I deeply admire and care about, i want them to live, and i want to live as well... so instead of what the "absolute" solution would be, jumping in front of the bullet, why not look around, maybe throw a rock at the guys head? or use anything you could to immobilize this motherfucker, possibly have to kill him, as he's not to enthusiastic about you keeping your lifes.

thinkin outside of the box, i dont wanna die, i dont want this person to die, so what can i do to take down the threat to life without sacrificing either of ours( or a cause, i dont wanna die, i believe in this cause, whats another alternative besides getting martyred)
