i believe that the little certificate they give you means absolutely nothing. it is nothing more than a contract stating that somebody is entitled to half of everything if they ever decide to leave. marriage no longer means forever to most people in my opinion and to me that is what marriage is all about. til death do us part has turned into til death do us part or i get tired of being married to you.
