What was the name of your first acid tab?

my 1st trip was on windowpane did a few microdots then there was some a that came in from Atlanta it was called red dragon now that was some good lsd,also at one time there was some gel a in the shape of a pyramid that was pretty good too

This happened after I'd told all o' my (trippin') friends they were crazy for doing acid!!

We'd gotten Red Dragon, in Boulder County (CO); early-'80s, I think.

Eventually, there was also Black Dragon; VERY clean blotter!!!!!​

 

That was the first-sign someone was "off", that damned grin....and, ya' couldn't HELP it!!!

I think That was about the same time(?)as the Mickey Mouse Wizard and Goofy blotters...nice stuff, strong and clean!

Oh man, that was gooooood.I feel good just remembering it.
Of course once I had graduated to Peyote I almost completley for about the stuff until a friend came up with some really good generic blotter some years back and I discovered that one can still trip most wonderfully after 50!

I don't know if it had a name, but my first was a half of a very strong 4-way hit of blotter with a blue dot in the center. It would have been either late '69 or early '70.

I remember walking past what was then the Venice, CA police station just as it was coming on and feeling really nervous. We walked to the Venice Canals to hang out at the home of some older hippies (we were only 12 at the time) who were friends of the guy I had taken the acid with. It was fine for the first couple of hours, mostly spent just sitting out on the porch, tripping and talking. I was staring at the reflections on the water, totally absorbed in what looked like an electronic abstract painting, when this hyper-realistic duck came swimming right through the middle of it, leaving a little electronic trail behind it. I'm not sure what happened next, but I think I barfed. After that, I have no idea what happened. I was told when I regained my senses a few hours later that they had given me some thorazine to bring me down.

I'm not sure why I wasn't deterred by that experience, but I did acid many times after that and never had another bad trip, other than some bad brown windowpane once that gave me a severe headache (everyone had bad reactions to that batch). In fact, I had some of the most profound and happy experiences of my life on LSD.

Haven't touched the stuff in about 25 years. It just got old at some point and the last few times I did it I just sort of bided my time waiting for it to wear off. It seemed like I had already gotten everything out of it that it had to offer and it was no longer useful to me.

I remember it being Unicorn Blodder- very clean, very nice. strong enuff to enjoy, but not get too wacky - - maybe right before the 70,s started- like 69- I dosed a few times here ,but never overseas- -

If I remember correctly ,which isnt like a sure thing- -
I remember Blodder was plentiful here on the east coast- - window pane was fucking very powerful, and hits like sunshine had the name and also were nice but , but I found the blots always to be the best, cleanest, and had the best rebounding effect hours later (like in the morning- for nite trippers)

Hell its been at least 14 yrs since I dosed- every once in awhile Ill miss it- during a dead tape- -but I passed all tests and graduated

Damn you guys are good - I can't remember yesterday. I don't think it was on a cube - or blotter. I think many an orange tab so some kind or maybe an orange barrel. It was true acid though. I was hooked the 1st time.

Hmmm, i cannot remember the name of the first one but i could identify the picture out of a lineup, he he. Soon thereafter came some red colored gels that we called windowpane that were very nice. Then came a whole slew of musical notes, sheet after sheet and they were very nice too. But then, i met my husband and he was part of a small West Coast family group that had a superior chemist who made special doses just for the family. They were about 1 mg (1000 mcg) each. They were on thick green blotter and were simply called "Wang dooseys." My husband and i used to eat quarters or halves of these and we would get blown halfway across the galaxy. We have the fondest memories of these trips - each one stands out like a fucking Pulsar in our memories and these memories are well over 20 years old now.

My one and only really bad acid trip no doubt came from my own set and setting issues but the blotters were lightning bolts - dark blue background with black lightning bolt pictures on them.

Either black stars or black eyes, not sure which one was my first, both were very good. Lots of barrels, and gels...

 

Oh wait,,, Purple Microdot now that my coffee is in place... 1984 of all years. Was kinda weak or I just had one of those "First time doser" moments when it may as well have been a Donut Sprinkle.

 

Tincture of Morning Glory seeds. They are certainly in abundant supply. I have done them on several occasions with good results except the nausea early on. How would you reduce them to a tincture?
