    A giant bag of Whoppers for $1.79. I rarely eat candy these days, but I remember with fondness my favorite candies and will buy them for sentimental reasons. Comfort food, really.

    lunch. at sum's mongolian, in auburn california. before that was groceries on monday i think. i'm trying to remember what was the last solid permanent (as in unlike lunch or busfare) new thing i bought, and i can't for the life of me remember for sure what it was. it might be the clock that fits in my pocket i bought a month or so ago, to replace the one i had had that had gotten flakey and hard to set. but i'm surprised at myself if i've not actually bought anything solid since then.
