I went thrift shopping today and got a good haul

4 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 3 coffee mugs, a pair of shoes that look like they've never been worn, a book, a printer that has never been taken out of the box but i'm worried there's some kind of factory defect because there were a bunch of them..but it was only 6 bucks so i figured i would take my chances.

    What book did you get?

I have too many mugs, but it's so hard to resist when I see a pretty one!

    Just say no.

I have so many i am running out of room for them but i couldnt resist, i am weak!

The book is Sideways by Rex Pickett. I saw the movie a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I didnt even realize it was a book until I found it today so figured I would add it to my ever growing stack of books I will read one day

I've never heard about that, book or movie.

I haven't bought a book for myself in a while now because, like you, I also have a considerable stack of books I will one day read.
I also got a bunch of these beautiful really old Dostoyevsky books as a gift (like 7 or 8 books), and I'd just feel guilty if I bought other books while ignoring my man Fyodor.

Last night.... another trip into the shopping world....Kohl's was having a 30% sale for those who got the coupon, and I did.....for anything in the store, including sale items...sometimes...their coupons do not include anything that is on sale.....so after glancing at the gloves there the last time.... i was there just last week...i decided to go back to see if there was anything.....
Before going to Kohl's, I stopped at Michaels as they sell TY little stuffie animals....and I wanted to see what they had...and they had two large bins of them....mostly pink ones...like the new pink dragon, which i already bought on ebay and lots of other ones...and they are all cute, but I was looking for one that I could not put down and made me know it was for me and waiting for me....and made me feel happy...Under tons of other ones, there was only one beneath a bunch of them....and there he was ! WIGGY!....my little grey seal....so he was the one.....I had to have....so I bought him leaving all the rest behind for $5.00 and change.....and he has put a smile on my face ever since.....I have learned if something, someone, some place does not make you feel happy to be alive in in the life...then time to move on.....and forget it...if i have learned anything in this life....

Wiggy is waiting for me to write stories about his adventures now...and could be my favorite TY toy of all the ones I have.....I will keep him with me always...he is so soft and cuddly.....and sweet.

Then at Kohl's, I looked at the gloves and found grey isotoner ones....very warm...and fake fur inside...waterproof and warm.......retailed at $42.00...on sale for $20 something, so i got these gloves that match Wiggy for $14.00. The problem with finding anything I love to wear is afraid to wear it....as I will never find another so i save all of my favorite things indefinitely...:D
I have to stop that..Life is too short....

After shopping...Off to my favorite Chinese buffet place that has the best Japanese sushi in the area....and I load up on the sushi and wasabi that made me breathe fire and water eyes...I ate a big gob of wasabi at first and I always get the seaweed salad, too.....and now I have to take dogs and work off that meal......as we were all stuck inside yesterday due to the rain all day long...Raining on and off today, also, but these pugs are farting all day now Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeu...I cannot take that anymore... :D
and dogs are all getting cabin fever....so if it rains on us...oh, well.

Have you tried those chocolate -mint kit kats? WOW! Awesome.....I am a chocolate with mint freak , anyway... :D
Dove...mint chocolates....Junior Mints, Peppermint Patty's and so on....
If you like PB with chocolate, I bet Kit Kat would make that wonderfully, as well.
