Today....CVS has a sale on all Christmas items.....There are two CVS's in my town. OneCVS that is hidden and not as known about... had everything 90% off...The other, more frequented CVS had 75% off.....
I spent $19.00 at the 90% off one with a coupon on the receipt to get $5.00 off the next purchase at CVS on anything....so $14.00, and I bought lots of neat ornaments, light up things, expensive candy, candle holders and things and one roll of $7.00 wrapping paper...so some of my Christmas shopping is already done for next year.....
I am keeping a couple of things and the Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark candy. I won't save the candy for next year....
The candy I bought should last a few months eaten very sparingly...It is candy I won't buy at a regular price.
This CVS would have been sold out had more people been aware of it...The 75% off one was almost all sold out of Christmas items. I did not buy anything at that one.

Well, shit....have a $12.00 coupon that expires at Kohl's today, so going there to see what I can find in a few minutes....

I would have looked for better gloves, but the hand warmers that they sell are working...the things that heat up inside your hand and whatever glove you wear. They stay heated for 8 hours, too....I will have to get more of those at Ocean Lots....so the last two days out there have been ok...Dogs, were all picking up their feet out there tonight....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
my legs are still cold to the bone under these leg warmers...

I will be back to tell you what i spent this $12.00 free coupon on....if anything.......

Two beautiful, vintage rhinestone brooches. They were delivered today. I love them. They are for my daughter's birthday later this month.

They are the starting of the collection of rhinestone brooches I'll give her up until October, when she get's married. She is going to carry a rhinestone brooch bouquet.

I'm so excited to give them to her!

hmmmm....I did not buy anything, but I found something to give the $12.00 coupon for....I find things once in awhile in Kohl's...like jogging sneakers, and I like Skeechers these days for that, but they had nothing I liked. I see pretty things on racks, but when I go to touch what I see...it feels like crap, cheap material always....The flannel shirts seem to be made out of thin tissue paper...not even soft, and I love my flannel shirts to be warm, cuddly and soft.

So I thought...hmmmm...what can I give the coupon for that expires today, so I went to the card dept there.
They have beautiful greeting cards there. I never looked for greeting cards here before...and found a Valentine's Day card I love...a work of art with cut out felt soft materials making a photo of a tree with two little birds and beautiful soft colors...It is so sweet and beautiful....My cards are always gifts, too....and it was $7.99, so I took that...and I noticed little Yankee candles, individually wrapped, in a basket for $2.00 each. I love those for the scents, and put them in my drawers and things. I picked a plum one called Sweet Plum...the aroma of that is so great and a dark blue one called...Moonlit Ocean.....wonderful....

That is $12.00 now and I will probably owe tax.....so she rings everything up, and says I still have 84 cents...oh, really? Damn, I could have picked another candle scent I wanted in white color also about the beach, but did not feel like walking the mile back to the other side of the store ...and making her wait, so i said keep it, and give it to the the next person that comes along an... 84 cent break on me...so that was my time at Kohl's tonight.

I did not know that the candles were on sale for $1.19...or I would have picked another when I saw them.
