violence should never be used... but u have to have a military, or else big brother will take its wrath!
The key to a revolution, a non-violent revolution of ideas, is EDUCATION. Obviously not the education system we have, but we should dedicate our lives into changing the education system for the best. The attitude most people have when they watch or read the news is practically the same attitude they had when they were in hight school... they are passive. They are obediant. They do not question, criticize, find solutions. Get the children to be curious, creative in school. Get them to shut the TV. Make them think, search, find original ways to solve problems. Not the way the teacher said was good, but there own way. Also use a bit less discipline. It will give more concerned people, a less easy to handle population. This is a long term way to change the world, and a different sort of difficulty than protests in the street, but IT HAS TO BE DONE.
well, revolution doesn't have to be in a marching, or violent, or non-violent form, for that matter. revolution can just occur at home, turn off the computer, lose the t.v., sell your car, use green energy, greet people at your home with love. the only reason most hippies stay at home and smoke pot all day is because really, it feels good, and makes some people lazy and not want to really do anything. but seriously, grow up, don't try to march in the streets because you've romanticised it all of your life, just try to be a good person. be your own revolution.
Yea if you go out in the streets police will smoke us and kick our ass. And if they want do it people would only say were anoying and nothing musch would change. Just have inside revolution in YOU and world will be saved.
I'm not saying what happened in the 60's was wrong, bad, stupid, whatever. I personally thought that back then people had a united cause and problems that needed to be taken to the streets. if the draft gets reinstated, yeah, i would burn my draft card, claim to be homosexual, and march in the streets.
I can proudly say that if finland joins in NATO no one will go in army. And if finland joins NATO i will take it out in the streets.
I give up, what is an NGO "ARANEA'". Although I haven't said it here, I've always thought that the best way to spread/promote peace and love and any other (revolutionary?) ideas is to the people immediately around you whether it is in your homes, your neighbors or people on the street. Whoever you meet, wherever you go, talk to people about what you think. However, maybe none of you have encountered this but there are people in this country and around the world who will stop you from saying the things you want to to the people you want to same them to, and they will stop you with force, they will come into your home and remove you just for expressing yourself, your ideas. You don't have to believe me, but it's true, it's all ready happened to me. There is no escaping that kind of thing and you have to be ready to fight if you can to prevent or stop that from happening.
No shit! You're not fucking with me, are you ChildoftheRisingSun? I'm only kidding with you bro'. Thanks for your support. peace
My eternal question is, what are you starting a revolution against? politics, religions, policies, war? i see all these things as being awful and just generally bad for society, but i don't see the point in a revolution, those can be awful messy and leave people with nothing. i wouldn't go to jail for a cause i don't understand or know about, in a revolution you trully have to have a united cause, throwing off an unjust government, that only can happen with bloodshed, and to be honest, that's not what i thought we should be about. i just want things to change, i don't want the world upside down, but i want things to change for the better.
