explaining what you see on the other side is impossible really. one reason is most things are subjective over there, different people will experience the same thing in different ways. another thing is it depends on the quality of your consciousness, there are billions and billions of dimension, and all different layers of reality, the quality of your conscious effects where you land within a reality. its hard to map this stuff out. another reason is that what you see on the otherside is a lot of time inexplicable by the human language. some things are so complex and far out that no words in the human language even come close to explain at all what you are witnessing. what usually happens tho is loss of ego, feeling of eternity, super perception, large amounts of information being processed at once, youll feel divine light energy moving through you, you will realize we are all one, you find the truth, and you will talk to other beings, beings made of light who will guide you and show you truth. it is quite the experience.
An old poster from here, mara-aum spoke of the aliens quite a bit. Perhaps send her a message? But it seems to me your thinking too much here. There is a component to the function of your subconscious mind which is simply incomprehensible and you must learn to unconditionally love and trust it without ANY attempts to understand it. The moment you attempt to comprehend magick is the instant it stops working. This bout of insanity you feel like you might fall into, I would almost be willing to guarantee that you will not find the appeasement to it through any suppression, or removal of thoughts and intuitions in your head. But rather by letting the thoughts go and operate naturally, and allow it to come full circle while retaining a calm balance. I will say the term 'alien' is VERY loose, why must it be 'alien', it could simply be foreign entities. Many cultures, and a number of even modern writers have talked extensively about the notion of entities, small energetic beings or what have you, that operate in a dimension of the other, that work to align components of our reality in place. I personally believe this has some truth. But I place it into the context that, our subconcious mind in full manifestation is actually a three dimensional space, filled with entities. They operate and run about there separate from our waking concious awareness. Our thoughts are but the tricklings of energy that seep through from the other side, and become translated into our waking consciousness. In a more colorful explanation, the chess game of two beings in an alternate dimension might be translating, by mere synchronicity, into the chain of thoughts going through your head via the most abstract connection one could possibly fathom. I do believe synchronicity of this extreme peculiarity can at times exist, and that on psychedellics you can in fact peak at them, see that your consciousness is in synchronization with many components, in many dimensions. My glimpses of this other side I can tell you, it is incomprehensible. There is no grounding rational thought to be found in relation to it. You simply must come to trust the flow of thoughts while sitting calm, centered, balanced and often times in fits of maniacal laughter as they roll through you. This is the much better option than running around making everyone think your crazy. Your not crazy, you just need to pay some attention to whats going on internally to sort this out. You won't find the full answer to this in any book, from any institution or on the internet, it will only come through inner perception. You have to sort and come to an understanding of your own idiosyncrasies via your own means. because the other side is essentially your imagination, your idiosyncrasies manifested into another dimension which you perceive as real. We don't know whats there for you. We don't know if you will run into something difficult. It's uncharted territory, and your territory is even more uncharted to us. No one has any real clue about it. No one will know what to do with it if you don't know what to do with it, because it is you. Which thats not to make you feel completely alone. In my experience, every now and then I run into someone who has had a REMARKABLY similar glimpse of the other side and it's one of those weird synchronistic moments where it's like "are you making this up to try and make me trip out here, how did you even know to make that up, whats going on here". But I mean, you can't really rely on that to happen.
I didn't see this thread until just now. It's been almost a week since you first posted this. Are you feeling much better?
AWESOME post... I went through exactly what Mr. Writer is describing when I first got into marijuana and LSD. I feared the drugs and I feared myself and I used them anyway and I dug deeper and deeper into myself while still fearing it... it took quite a while to get over it, but I no longer fear insanity. I've been pretty fucking deep and I lived to tell about it. You will, too, LifesSubliminalDream. You are just freaking out. You are afraid of your own thoughts and yourself and this whole "sanity"/"insanity" distinction that our society insists upon making (there is some truth to it, but only some). I don't think you're crazy at all - at least not any crazier than a whole lot of introspective people, many of whom function at a high level in all areas of life. You're just afraid. And the only way to stop being afraid is to face what's bothering you (and I don't mean taking more L, at least not right now ) and to relax and have faith in yourself and in the universe. Just have faith and don't run away from yourself and you'll be feeling much better soon (it sounds like you already are).
why thank you! tom campbell really is great, his work changed my whole perception on life, in a positive way too. its a shame not many people kno his name.
Been there mate, very recently. I've found techniques that work for overcoming it... you've really just got to play around. Thers a quote I heard - "lsd is not insane, its unsane" You're probably not schizophrenic, just having to make sense of a completely new dimension of you're brain that LSD has opened up. When I was younger, I used to see Jester's when tripping. It would scare the shit out of me. The jester would show me all these amazing things he could do to mess with my head... sometimes I just lay there shitting myself. Recently I took another trip & I was so excited about doing acid again, went up & greeted him like an old friend. It was the best trip of my life & has had a profound impact on the way I think. This time he showed me how to do alchemy - how I could take any situation & turn it into good, just by throwing out "light" or positivity. As for the aliens, someone mentioned something above that maybe it was just subtle communications blown out of propotion. I believe this 100%. Always remember, when you're working WITH acid you always have control over the trip. If it starts going dark - Just throw some light in!!! Seriously mate, you'll be amazed. If you feel you can't handle it, definatly lay off it for a while. Weed is the worst of them all for psychosis. But remember - Its you're head. You're in control.
Hey man I hear you; I hope you read my message, as I'm willing to explain to the best of my ability.. so please take it into consideration (L.S.D.).. Alien's don't control your mind. "You" control "your" mind. The only reason you perhaps feel as if you are "losing control" of your mind, is because you experienced a very weird situation with a paranoid belief on hand to (which can make your mind very restless and rambling on it's own).. The only answers here are, you can continue to scare yourself by trying to rationalize the irrational from that trip, or you can just be reasonable with yourself and understand that you had a BAD TRIP and need to move on. You were afraid, a scary idea popped into your mind, you took it into consideration, matched it to what you were experiencing, and probably missed what was really going on the whole time since you were freaking yourself out. Don't go believing in aliens that control your mind, lol. Honestly just step back for a moment and take a sigh to realize just how stupid that is (no offense to you, paranoia does wack shit to the best of us). Some people here are pretty messed up in general from drugs and the lsd in the mix, they could be just trying to mess with you. No one who is really trying to help would try to scare you. That kinda.. wouldn't be helping, right? The brain living in multiple dimensions is 'real' to an extent, as real as an idea can be. It is real in a tradition that originates in South America and is practiced amongst a tribe that gives ayhuasca to the 'victim' with the 'parasitic ego' under the regulation/watch of a Shaman. The shaman then performs certain types of rituals during the victims trip to remove their parasitic ego. I don't know where aliens came into all of this. In this tradition, dimensions of the brain only refers to fragmented parts of the brain which is due to the false ego. There is the talking/listening split, which usually comes first, then the judge/victim split.. which usually is the cause for all unecessary suffering in a persons life. A person experiencing this will think something in their head to themselves to make themselves feel bad, guilty, helpless, shameful, whatever is basically negative, over whatever it is repeatedly to suffer what they feel should be a 'justified consquence'. These dimensions can then be broken down into energy charges, mainly negative energy charges, that get locked into a persons system. But there's my little explanation on that. Here's my end on spirituality, so take what you want from it. We all have different traditions to practice. I stick to Zen and am selective with some buddhist teachings. True spiritual awakening starts when you learn to forget about yourself (the ego self, which is needy, doubting, guilty, unhappy, etc) and feel for others, or feel for your surroundings... in pure connection, compassion, whatever you want to call it. There's nothing even special about it. It's almost like just being human and accepting that. Meditation helps. Karma Yoga helps. But that's a different story. Just saying, you don't need to try and make an experience 'spiritual'. Nor is there any real requirements. Speaking from personal experience of a long time ago, LSD and spirituality never worked for me when I went into it in a subjective manner. I just got paranoid about shit, put simply, lol. Made me a lil isolated and weird about things for a while. Little did I know at the time, subjectivity, implies ego by definition. When we no longer experience things through our ego, there is no longer a duality between the observer and the observed. You are simply where you are and content with that. Anyway, I hope I've helped.. at all. There isn't a single good reason to suffer. Bad things can happen, but that's why we need to learn to move on. Maybe even learn from it so we don't repeat the bad from the past over and over? Good luck man. Peace & Love.
You're about to break on through to the other side man. That's something I've been working on for a long time. I'm still not even close. If it makes you feel any better I'd definitely gladly take your place man. But man if you're not ready, Don't go there. It's as simple as that man. Would you go on vacation without any luggage? Just when you finally get there make sure you tell me what's it's like man. Acid is the key to it all. A key you never should have touched if you weren't ready for this. When you finally get there, tell Morrison i said hi. haha
Okay let's clear up a few things here, LSD does not put thoughts in your head, this is not happening because you took too much and you do not have to wait for the effects of LSD to wear off for these thoughts to go away. Sometimes it seems like half the people on these forums are only here to disrespect LSD. If you take LSD to get fucked up that is fine but why do you have to try and fuck up every one else's trip as well? Someone has obviously put a thought in your head, a very trippy thought at that. When you really stop and think about it there is no way to prove that we have control over our own mind. So if you're the type of person who needs evidence or scientific backing your kind of screwed. Just think about it logically, what possible reason could aliens have to be in control of your mind? Would they not have their own life to live and their own mind to control? I understand the idea that aliens are watching and observing but to think that they are in control of our mind is fucked up. I think if there was an alien race that had the power to control our minds they would be making us do things that are a lot more useful than what we're doing now. It is far more likely that they are sitting back watching and laughing at how stupid we are. In other words, a being who is intelligent enough to figure out mind control is probably not going to have us doing all the stupid things humans do on a regular basis. All you have to do is think about this rationally and logically! Anyways, I understand how you feel like something external has control over your mind but let me assure you that although you may feel like your thoughts and actions are out of your control you definitely have the ability to make a choice. I suggest you take some time and contemplate free will and the ability to choose. Why don't you test yourself by doing something new and out of character. What happens on a psychedelic trip is your choice and completely dependent on set and setting. A little hit of acid does not have a whole trip of crazy thoughts and ideas packed into it! You took some acid and thought about what some guy on this forum had to say about aliens controlling your mind and you got paranoid, it is as simple as that. Your fear is irrational and very dangerous if you continue to believe it or that LSD has caused it. You have incarnated into this physical form with the freedom to choose. Your choices are limited due to your past choices and your surroundings but you still have a choice. I'm not sure why people are so obsessed with aliens! Human beings are an amazing species with great potential and I think it would be better for us to concentrate on how we can better ourselves than to sit around wondering when aliens are going to visit, if they haven't already!
dude what are you talking about. Acid does put those thoughts in your head. Its Acid, you hallucinate from it. It completely changes just about every thought pattern in your head.
If what you are saying was true, that LSD puts thoughts in your head, then everyone would have the same thoughts after taking acid from the same batch. Wouldn't the chemists then come up with different batches for different trips? If people wanted to have a trip about aliens they could just buy the alien acid and hallucinate and talk to aliens all night. Unfortunately for you but fortunately for the rest of us this is just not the case. Three different people can take the same LSD on the same night in the same room and have completely different thoughts and completely different visuals. No trip is the same! Even the same person taking the same acid will have a completely different trip each time. This is because LSD opens the door so that your mind can trip. Psychedelic drugs to not put thoughts or visuals into your head! What they do is set you free from your ego causing it to trip out. The thoughts that you have and the visuals that you see are unique to that moment and your set and setting. LSD opens the door and it is up to you where you go from there! It is very dangerous for someone to take psychedelic drugs if they do not understand this fact. We must take responsibility for our own thoughts and actions as anything else would be psychotic. The last thing we need is a bunch of confused kids adding to the belief that LSD makes people psychotic! Who in their right mind would want to take a drug that is gonna make them think and act against their own will?
Hallucination =/= thoughts placed in head The thoughts you get on acid are still your thoughts, you are simply high on a drug. Acid can no more "put thoughts in your head" than a cup of coffee can. It can change the way YOU think, but only that. Excellent post 3xi, agree 100%. LSD disinhibits your mind and makes your thoughts wander to the arcane, the spiritual, the cosmic . . . but these are still your thoughts, and just thinking them doesn't make them true .
what i'm saying is, if you didn't drop that acid, those thoughts would not be there. So therefore acid puts those thoughts in your head in a sense that it makes your mind generate them. ACID IS A CATALYST FOR FUCKED UP THOUGHTS!
It's a catalyst for your f'ed up thoughts They are still yours, even if you wouldn't have thought of them sober. Therefore one needs to own up and deal with them. Especially if they are a little on the delusional side.
