michigan is pretty. in the summertime. the cities aren't worth visiting, though. it's only good for camping
hahha josh. face, you could always come to New Jersey. I recommend Trenton, Newark, Camden.... such lovely sights/scenary
Miami, Florida I Just moved here and I love it. I came down from Brooklyn, New york. :cheers2::cheers2:
head to ouray, colorado. and see if you can make the bluegrass fest in telluride. i think it's telluride. avoid outlying areas of denver like the plague.
Mississippi - Nachez, Jackson & Vicksburg - Beautiful antibellum homes from the 1840's and newer - some in ruins - some pristine. Vicksburg Memorial Park - the tragedy of the civil war comes alive - if you think about it, you will weep. Again, beatiful homes - the capitol preserved from the Civil War years - The Blues in the delta - - BB King, Muddy Waters, Elvisand on and on,
Yes, Mississippi is what I'd recommend actually. Unfortunately, New Orleans is no more- otherwise I would go THERE. There is nothing of authenticity remaining in this country. Chain stores and standardized urban planning fucked it all up.
I'm surprised noone said the Grand Canyon. that's supposed to be 'really beautiful'... (although I can't vouch for this either)
Eugene and Ashland Oregon. Lots of hippies and skater kids. the homeless population is depressing though. its cool to see all the old VW's though. most are in mint condition because there is close to no rust out there. not like Michigan. damn salty roads.
i love the grand canyon. i've always wanted to go on one of those camping trips to the bottom. never got to stick around, though. we'd just stop and take a few pics as we were passing through.
