My mom tried to say i need to get a hair cut again just now

I asked her why. She said something about the flippity do-da cause my hairs curly, and she said she wants to see my face. I said I dont etc...

Then she said that stuff about me getting my ear pierced and I told her about how she wanted me to get the other one pierced and she realized i was right and she was wrong then she just said "Would it hurt you to please your mother once in a while" and then i said yes and she left. Because it wasnt really serious. I wasnt being rude lol she just was saying like "jeeze what ever"

true story.

i used to have a friend who's parents used to give him shit when he would wear a variety of colored booty shorts over the summer. every one we hung out with thought it was hilarious but truthfully it was because he had self-esteem issues. i would listen to him bitchfest with his parents about how he didnt like the way regular shorts looked on him. close to the end of summer he ends up getting kicked out of his house left with only a car, a sack of weed, 8 pairs of booty shorts and a mind desperately seeking individuality. 1 year later and a month ago from now i walked in on him smoking rock on the floor of a public bathroom in the park. i think he was trying to jack-off in there too cause his booty shorts were pulled halfway down and crunched up in between the cross of his legs. seriously.... how could you forget to lock the door when you're doing shit like that.

i know that there was a bunch of factors that ultimately led up to him smoking crack and masturbating in public bathrooms but im sure his rebellion against his parents was the biggest one.

but dude.... is an image seriously worth sacrificing what relationship you have with your parents? i mean these are the same people who just bought you a car to drive, bro. you said you're smart enough to make decisions for your self, right?

Im still going to get the car I want, my parents didnt buy the car for me they just bought it because it was really cheap and if I wanted it I could have had it.

Thats pretty much what ive been doing. I dont think theyre gonna say anything. About the crime thing... yeah. but it doesnt matter because i wouldnt be able to do shit anyway hahaha. (to actually "press charges")

but yeah my moms threatened to cut my hair in my sleep before, i told her i would do the same thing to her

i wouldn't have phrased it the same way, but this is pretty much how i feel about the whole situation. while you're living under your parents roof and having your bills paid for by them, you need to respect their rules. it sucks but its true. if you were to cut your hair now, it has plenty of time to grow out before you leave for school. and once your out you can do whatever you please in regards to your hair.

 

I know I have it easy because they pay for my shit, but I dont see why I should have to do everything they tell me to do. I obviously do the other stuff they tell me to do, or else I wouldnt get shit and they would make life hard on me. Theres just certain things that I dont think they should be telling me what to do.

No, I dont have a job at the moment. I was about to apply to this pizza place but I would have to quit in a few months anyway when i leave for school.

I know at least its making some money but really... It isnt much anyway it would be minimum wage, part time at least until like june.

(and I would probably have to get a job after I got them, or worse, while im trying to get dreads, because If i find a job where i go to school I would be working on getting dreads like right when I get to school...) maybe theyd be ok with a tam? lol idk. depends what job.

Also, like I said before I need to have volunteer hours/ or just hours worked in a vets office, to get into vet school, so hopefully I can get part time or something job working at one either down by my college, or by my home during the summer breaks.
