Soaringeagle, that can happen to ANYONE who goes overboard on ANY drug. I've seen many pot-smokers who are that bad, does that mean pot is a dangerous drug? No, because most people aren't dumb enough to smoke or take that much of it. The only bad thing I've heard about XTC is that it can put holes in your brain. And that was rumor, I've never once found a study that backs it up. Be responsible. That's the #1 thing when it comes to drugs. I've done XTC, but I've only taken a few pills. Its not something I can sit down with any day and just pop it. For one thing the hangover is too bad, I have class/work most of the time and I can't afford to be depressed for a couple days. Snorting lines of XTC, I did it, and I didn't get any negative effects. I only took 2 pills total (ate 1, cut 1 up), double stacks. A friend of mine also had some blow to numb the whole burning-like-gasoline thing.
I'm sooooo tired of people going on about how bad "ecstasy" is for you... it's a PURITY issue- if it were legal, PURE MDMA used in moderation is quite the opposite of harmful. In terms of therapeutic potential, it's one of the most amazing chemical discoveries in the past century! SoaringEagle, you're ex was probably just eating a bunch of meth and bullshit that is in most pills nowadays. You can't say the negative effects came from MDMA, it's highly more likely that it was from the other chemicals that were passed off as "ecstasy". To the OP: Know your source, get yourself a test kit and roll your ego off for a night!
That is misinformation! The original study that it comes from was fundamentally flawed- they somehow accidently mixed up METH with MDMA... and yes, long-term METH use will put "holes" in your brain. I'm too lazy to right now, but if you don't believe me search Google.
There's multiple places on the internet you can buy them from... Dancesafe.org is the main one I believe offers them.. Do a Google search, they aren't hard to locate.
