Pills lead to herion? I agree to some extent, but not everybody gets addicted to pain pills, and not everybody moves on to harder drugs.

As far as the rest of your post, I won't even waste my time responding to that nonsense.

 

The pharmacutical companies are selling opium, but it's illegal for an average US Citizen to do it. And actually pills do lead to heroin because after you develop a tolernce for the opium in the pain meds you need more to get high, and ultimatly it would be cheaper to buy heroin than a handful of meds to acheive the same high. I'm not saying opium is bad, I think it would be much safer to use in it's natural form though.

It's all about money, if we can make money from drugs then so will they. Why are opium based pain meds tolerated but thc pills aren't?

People on pain management don't need to go to Heroin because it's "cheaper," and PM patients make up a HUGE portion of people who take/abuse pain pills.

Also, not all pain pills are "opium based."

 

I might seem a little biased on the topic but I have seen many friends fall into addiction of pain meds, some were patients and other recreational uses. I'm not a doctor and this isn't targeted to whomever the medication was prescribed. but this forum topic is mostly dedicated to recreational users. The whole drug game of opiates is corrupt it's putting your money into the hands of shady drug dealers, corrupt doctors, and the US Government.

 

So don't buy anything anymore, because eventually your money is going to end up in the hands of the shady corrupt government, regardless of what you are purchasing.

It's a cold, rainy, miserable day. Days like this kill my back and knees. 6 10mg hydro's in the last 4 hours. I'm allowed 4g acetominophen in a 24 hour period, so I'm close to that already, and it's only a little past 9 am. I can't complain, though. I'm definately feeling very little pain and feel like a busy bee. Not much to do though, except screw around on the internet. I'm addicted to this one quiz website. I feel like I could tear right through it this morning.

I wonder if this is why winter seems like the perfect time to do opiates for me. I don't get any pains, but there's something about the early & cold mornings.

Im with you on that one. I live in Vancouver, and it rains all fuckin winter here. Non-stop. Drank my Methadone about 30 mins ago....just waiting for it to kick in.

 

I hear you guys on that one...I hate the cold and opies make it actually tolerable. On 2nd thought, they make everything more tolerable!
