(No reply between in a week... strange... do you all strike or something? Or is it because of the Ramadan?)

The danish band Gnags has becomed terribly poppish and commercial since the mid of the 80's. Unfortunately.
Gnags still exists, but unfortunately the band has lost its glow.
But that's no reason not to enjoy some of their earlier genious productions, like the public unknown totally wonderful psychedelic flower-power-album "På vej" (=on the way) from 1971, or the brillant rock-album named "Er du hjemme i aften?" (=Are you home tonight?) from 1979.
Just to mention two Gnags-pearls, among several others.

Right now I'm listening to "På vej" by Gnags.

Because of Gnags, your strike, or the Ramadan? :D

    Right now I'm listening to:

    Gnags: "Burhøns".

'Burhøns' is the danish word for 'battery hens' = industrial chickens that lives in very small cages. Gnags' title "Burhøns" is ofcourse a metaphor for that modern human beings are also living as battery hens - narrow framed freedom. The album is also from 1979.

    love,
    -wolf. :)

Decided only really to post on these things when something out of the ordinary comes up...Which is kinda crap since it's the most active thread in Europe right now - Hallo there to you troopers by the way! Wolf, Shadowplay, Penny of course.

So aye, got in from work this morning, had bloody Ocean Colour Scene in my head. First time that's happened in four years or something :)

Right this second it's "I Wont Get Grazed" and actually I'm liking it alot. Go out and download it and the penultimate track from this album, "The Waves" - both pretty damn good.
