What Makes A God?

I noticed over time that your sense of self causes you to be defensive. And in this instance to jump to defense. What you are cannot be taken from you. An individual is not separate it is undivided. If I am giving a cult idea that robs of identity where are the missing persons. There is no you if not for the fact of we. The only thing you loose with this idea is fear and selfishness.

I noticed over time you try to say what i am.....and I am not....am not defensive....i think out things very thoroughly.....I stand for my own rights, is all.....as everyone should....or for whatever they are....to thine own self be true. i don;t think anyone said it better than Shakespeare, which is all I am really trying to say.

 

If there is a meeting of the mind, body, soul or whatever.....that is wonderful, and I am all for REAL connections with people, but not for any take overs or deceptions. Do you understand the difference and what i am trying to say?

What you are describing is what you interpret as an assault on your authority. One person says i want it this way and another says no I want it that way so that fight over that which neither are aware of, that which you have.

 

No one has every taken anyone's authority from them. We feel intimidated by the lessons we have been taught that others have authority over us.

 

Take your own authority back, don't let them take that from you.

 

Defensive is not what you are it is something you do, put up a defense.

 

It can't be taken from you. You are afraid of something that cannot occur. It is why we have armies and are killing each other.

Don't get me wrong. it is just that we care for ourselves and keep ourselves from falling into holes. A mother protects her children she can't help it. If the person in front of you is a reflection of yourself then your innate protections extend to them. You don't shoot yourself in the foot, if you are paying attention that is.

I do still kind of label myself as agnostic because I'm curious as to why so many cultures in ancient history adopted the believes in God(s) while never having contact with another
Devout faith has been in this world for thousands of years too, leading people to do unimaginable things. Whether there's a god involved or not religion is very powerful

Atheism hasn't ever been popular in any population I'm aware of, not to say that it's wrong.

 

We are born devoted. Devout faith is an effort to conform to an ideal and has nothing to do with what is precious to us.

 

I am not afraid...just saddened after blushing.....I am really very shy....but anyone can be the wizard in the wizard of OZ with a loud voice, but look behind the curtain.
