Damn, I think I got pregnant when I was in Ocala for the gathering there, Regionals were nice too although the rain kicked me out (mostly my partner for thinking he was going to shrivel up and die, like the wicked witch of the west) I was thinking, well ok, more like, the child expressed to me it liked Elephant Heart a real lot. Doubt if I can get my stick in the mud partner to go along with it. Even if it feels natural to me, nope. Even if the child thinks he (it is male) loves it. Nope. UGH. Namaste Francine
My oldest sons,5,name came from a dream I had months before I became pregnant with him.In the dream i was holding a beautiful blond curly headed baby.He was smileing and laughing and I was too.I looked at his face and said "Hes a little work of art,I think i'll name him art." So months later I became pregnant and had Sky Michael Art .Sky just went perfect with art,it being a everchangeing masterpiece. He's quite the artist and had very curly blond hair till he was about 3. Lumen Michael is 3,we call him Louie.I loved the name Louie but wanted to give him a name with meaning,Lumen means star.He makes me draw a star next to his name every time I write it. Haven Michael just turned 2.I just liked the name.I thinks it sounds beautiful and he is a beautiful child.
All three of them are great kids too! =) My oldest is Malachai Li-Phuong named after King Malachy of Ireland, Li and Phuong are a combination of my grandfather and my wifes grandfathers names. Liam Rowan Magnus is our little boy, he is named after my father (william), and name i used to go by (rowan, its a sacred tree) and Magnus, after Magnus ver Magnuson, who was my hero when i was a kid. Our daughter is on the way, named Aurian (old gaelic for silver) Sidhe (peace/fairy) de Danu (of Danu, the Earth Mother)
no way, was Magnus Ver Magnuson your hero? haha i used to loooove him when i was a kid! I thought he was the coolest guy ever! I even have a pic of me with him, i was about 5 at the time. I was so shy when i met him haha Hey, i'll scan the pic and put it in my gallery, you can check it out
Sara thats too cool, I didnt even click that you two were from the same country. I cant wait to see the picture, bet you were adorable. But yeah, i idolized him for years, i still look up to him today. I competed in the Scottish Heavy events and thought about him a lot of the time, wishing i could be a man like he is. Big and strong, but sweet and kind
Dubh is pronounced "Doo", or "Doove" (depending on dialect), with a hard "u" sound. Means black, rather than dark. Dubh was also a Gaelic god. Beautiful name though, my daughters middle name (I mentioned above) is Sidhe, another pain for people to spell, pronouced like a mix between she and shea, i guess "shhee" would be the phonetic spelling.
the pics are in my gallery. you should check it out i look so stupid in them though.. wearing the most ridiculous hat ever, i thought it looked so cool at the time though.. hahaha but whatever yeah, i really looked up to him when i was younger. i never thought he was known outside of iceland though.. lol guess i never thought about it.
