What Is Your Heredity?

I'm going to try it. Watch my back, I'm going in. Hopefully, it won't be too much money.

I wonder if I'm black. That would be funny. I have Spanish blood in me, but for the most part... people don't believe me when I share this, because I have such white features. I think Spain is apart of Europe, so technically I think I would be white, amongst other things because my parents are mixed.

 

I'm not really trying to argue. You can call yourself American and the rest of us will discuss our heritage based on what we've found from geneological research and DNA tests, cool?

We're discussing Heritage in this thread as it pertains to:

So we are not to discuss countries that we might have come from and ONLY Hereditary traits such as eye color, skin color, hair color and texture / features, etc. are to be discussed. Physical Characteristics, mental characteristics, and genetic disorders only, which has nothing to do with countries because we can not assume that Japan has only specific characteristics and same goes for America.

 

Right Mod better change the name of this thread as "What is your ancestry?"

Uhhh, no it is not the point of this thread.As Arianna pointed out.

Ancestry and Heredity are two different things. Heredity refers to things passed down from your parents to you and from your grandparents to your parents. Not the country in which they once resided in or currently do. Spaceman gave a fine example of this with his statement of being White. Did you get your looks from your parents? How about those freckles, Does one of or both of your parents have them? Does mental illness or disorder run in your family, and you also have it? Is there a sickness that is common in your family and you are a carrier? These are Hereditary things and do not apply to a location on the map.

OP clearly meant ancestry. He should have said ancestry instead of heritage, he didn't, who cares

Moving along..what is YOUR ancestry?

 

Take it up with the moderators Aerianne if you have a problem with this thread being about Heredity. When you said to Pufn'stuf on page 46 "I am not trying to argue" Aerianne replied to you stating that the title would be changed to "What is your Heredity." And said what heredity was defined as. Aerianne said it is about Heredity, not me.

M, You can talk about Ancestry if you want, but as the moderators said on page 46, "You can start a thread about anything you like"

In other words; this thread is about Heredity and if you want to talk to something else start a thread about it.

Do you have to be right, in control and/or control conversations? You asked what Heredity means, you clearly thought that ancestry and heredity were the same thing. I explained it, Aerianna explained it, Spaceman gave an example of it, yet you can not accept this. Not even when the dictionary definition is presented to you will you accept it. Are you sure that you don't want to argue with people?
