    Come on guys.
I'll build a boat and we'll all sail away.
    COME SAIL AWAY!

something magical about starting a journey on a greyhound...

cars are weird tho in that they completely seperate you from the outside enviroment. Little bubble compartment with background music, custom controlled enviroment. Its creepily technological.

I like to walk, but we live so far out in the styx that if I wanted to get to town in would probably take around five to six hours to get there on foot. My next favorite is by bus (not school bus, I mean like bus bus). I find I like it because you're always bound to meet interesting people and strike up crazy conversations about life.

My favorite mode of travel is dogsled. A friend and I once mushed from Nome to Fairbanks, took us three weeks. Not once during the trip were we indoors for more than a couple of hours and the temp never rose above -10F.

i love the car. i take lots of long trips back and forth from home now to home before. i love playing favorite music and just driving and seeing the states. driving has been calming to sometimes when i was younger and need to get away from home, i would say i was going to the store and just drive and think, the try to clear my head. so yeah, the car! even though its small

I like walking and driving for local trips. For longer trips, I'd take a bus. Never been on a plane or train.

    PEace,

not all cars are small! the largest car was a Linclon Custom. masde in the late 50's that thing cant be pulled bya dolly trailer its so ehavy and big. its over 20 Ft. long. longer then my dads 71 Ford 3/4 ton pickup! and weighed over 2 1/2 tons! my 57 Chevy only wieghs 1 1/2 tons and is only 16-17 ft long! and my car cant be pulled by a dolly! it had to play 'piggyback' to get it home! i love autos. walking (if you like to travel ) taeks a while. driving lets you see more. and if you dont like to drive fast take the country roads! in Nebraska sadly the highway speed limit is 60 mph. when i was ittle it was STILL at 55 mph. i plan on just restoring my car now. and when i have Old Betsy paid off in May. i am going to get a VW Van. theres PLENTY around here :) do VW Vans get better gas per gallon then 5 mpg. my 57 Chevy gets 5 miles per gallon! well its a 283 V8 4 Barrel its gotta burn tons of gas :p while Jerold works on restoring my car i will slowly save up for a VW Van. a guy i talked to to bought one for $100!. if you own a VW Van and needs body work. go to rustrepair.com and get some rust repair panels for it. that is a place i may go to get new quarter panels for Old Betsy. i found bondo on her. but sanded it down and need 2 new fenders. ( front quarter panels) $430 a piece + S&H.

    later

    the tired flwoer child

I like riding on trains. But when all else fails. I still prefer to walk. Gives you time to think and you get to see the views.

I saw a video on the news many years ago about a guy in Britain who put a small engine on a lazy-boy type chair and would drive around town in it (on the sidewalks). It was one of the more silly things I've ever seen. :)

A motorized bar stool, huh? Well, I guess that beats my motorized Lazy-boy chair story. :)

My favorite transportation mode is still walking barefooted. :)
