i don't think there is one right or wrong way to definr time because there is no way to actually prove it & everyone has different views about it, I just know i don't like it

Is time relative to how fast planets rotate/orbit or to their mass in the space time contiuum?
There's so many different perspectives we could have on time. But space time is most interesting. Would being in two far away spots at the same time in the universe have events occur simultaneously ?

hmm I really like that thought :) space-time is interesting! how would two events take place at the same time if in both places had their own concept of time?

No. And No. in the latter case it is a concept formed by the thinker when the thinker leaves the present and conceives the past or the future.

altho I think we do try to keep the concept of our own mortality transient in our mental processes. I mean we don't like to think of this ... and avoid the thought.

    cheers!

Yes time exists without conscious observation. Consciousness is high complexity that required massive amounts of time and energy for nature to develop. Complexity is a product of time and energy. If there was no time before consciousness, there would never be consciousness. Energy and time are one, it should be called Energy-Time not Space-Time, space is the medium in which Energy-Time propagates.

You clearly do not think of nature as a creation of conscious. My spiritual connections have taught me that time is a concept of consciousness like everything else. Only the human brain measures time, the soul does not. To the soul time doesn't exist only conscious in the present moment, the only real moment which is infinite. The animal brain which perceives the 3D reality created time from the perception of the stars and planets movements plotted in to cycles as viewed from the 3D reality.

Time will then differ greatly between dimensions due to the restrictions of that dimension, the higher being the less restrictive until the point of stillness. (Oneness).

The highest point of being is the only truth, and there is no time.

ALL empirical scientific evidence suggests that consciousness IS a creation of nature, not the other way around. Consciousness creating nature is the stuff of fantasies, misinformation, swindlers, and egotistical denial...

Time is the limit of the creation.

Imagine with me: no place no time, how?

in order to move from point A to point be, you need time (even part of a millisecond!).

If physically the universe started win the big bang (I believe it is), then place and time were born together, and every creature in this universe is bound to a lifetime.. start and end, as the nature of the universe it self.. until it collapses in the end! (Who caused the big bang, folded place and time can wrap it up again when it is time, just as an open book closed after chapters are completed!).

Its a repeating rhythm that flows constantly with the influx of events and emotions. I know how a clock works, and that I have to live my life along side it but I don't enjoy it. I think if our thought process on it is fine. I think we all show healthy symptoms. We feel constrained, it stresses us out, we at times loose sync with it and none of us really LIKE it.

Sounds to me like an uncomfortable set of clothes that we need to just take off every once in a while. For good health if nothing else. I find that I hate tripping or getting baked anywhere near a clock. 9/10 it will throw me into a bad one.

  17. What if time stops forever sometimes and then resumes from where it left off?

  20. What if it stops for aeons and then resumes, then? Just a neat thing to think about.

I don't get what people mean when they say time stops at the speed of light. An observer can't move at the speed of light. Does that mean if an observer could move at the speed of light that for a time no one else would move? Because I think even if there were an observer out there somewhere moving at the speed of light, time still wouldn't be stopped for me.

Edit: You don't have to try and make things personal, Tyrson. I don't have the foggiest clue why you would, and I personally do not care.
