If it exists then it is real.

 

Then what about real stuff that doesn't exist yet?

 

It isn't real because it doesn't exist. You just know that it might or might not be created soon.

 

What one determines to be "real" must be verified internally, within that individual. Otherwise one becomes susceptible to con games, and especially from people posing as religious experts. The worst ones are people who travel in groups, seeking additional members. The fact that they are in a group seems to validate the claim that their group is legitimate, and based on something that is "real". It, however, is possible that everyone in the group is insane, or delusional, or has been misled. Numbers don't mean anything.
