What is important to you that is not important to others?

I know, it is very deep. But think about it for a little and you might find the answer.

 

never had a damd cell phone in my life, and the last thing in hell i would ever want is for everybody and their brother to be able to be constantly demanding my attention without even having to make the effort themselves to be there. i mean it's bad enough when they are: i should go out of my way to make it convienient to the rest of the world to make a pain in the ass of itself to me?

i seriously don't get why in the hell anyone would ever want that. if more people were like me, we might all have wrist pda's with modems or something, but the voice cell phone industry would never have found a market.

email and data is all the communication besides face to face i have the slightest use or desire for.

People want that because they want to feel needed and popular.
People suck.

 

i wouldn't say neccessarily suck, at least not all of them all the time.
just seem to have gotten somehow culturally convinced that there's something in it for them to completely deceive themselves.

bah, i still don't get it. somepeople will like me, some will dislike me, and some, most likely most of them most of the time, will probably could care less. it just don't make sense to me that anyone would expect or feel the need for it to be otherwise.

being wanted is nice, but being undemanded emotionally is so much easier on the mind and body, and makes it a whole lot easier to both think clearly and get things done in they we like see ourselves do so. in the way we like to see the things that we've done be.

at least i get more out of having something i create come out like i had in mind, as well or better, then i do out of beeing needed, ALL the time.

and being able to really groc where i am, what i'm seeing and surrounded by, at least when those are even a little like any place i prefer to be.

if i'm riding on a train or walking, i'd sure rather REALLY see the scenery and everything that's in it, then miss half of what i'd otherwise experience 'communication' with someone.

I agree that the world seems much more beautiful when you are not distracted by your need to be occupied.

 

These were really cool phones, weren't they? I dig them. I like rotary phones too.

 

My need to get out and be with people. My parents don't get that. I don't have my license yet since I've been out of a job and have not a dime so I depend on them for transportation. They hate to take me anywhere, even if it's within 15 min of our house, so sometimes my friends come get me but I can't pay them for gas lately, so I haven't let them. I hate this house, but thankfully my friends are generous.
