What Is God?

Big Bang.

There are elements out there that form to create other things, like the universe. Some things just are, there's no explanation. Although, some find that hard to accept.

 

If you study the prophecies of the Bible somebody knew a whole lot more than we did. The Bible speaks about the future before it happens. It talks about how the Jews will return to Israel near the end of time and how they will recapture Jerusalem. It talks about how Jerusalems East Gate will remain sealed until the Prince to come opens it. Everything I have stated here was spoken of in the Bible thousands of years ago and it is all true. Someone knows something.

 

Col. 1:16-17

For by Him all things were created: Things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

When you think about it where did anything come from? How can there be so much from nothing, or if you go high enought will you hit a brick wall? And then ask the question, what's behind the brick wall? There are no easy answers to any of these questions.

 

I'm glad you made that concession. Science could never explain first matter. And that is all I was trying to say.

The only world that is real to any of us, is the world inside of our minds. God is known as the supreme creator; the first. Our minds are what create OUR particular reality. Our minds then are god. God is infinite, they say. But how can anything be ascribed the property if infiniteness when we have no example of infinite in our own world? We recognize that a quantity can be infinite, but how can we comprehend how large that is? I can take one or ten grains of sand and recognize the number of grains i have, but as i increase the number, the amount that i have, gets more difficualt to understand: as things approach infinity, they approach infinite difficulty in terms of being understood. But our minds, it seems, can comprehend endless things and think endless thoughts. so then, the thought process of our mind, generally speaking, could be called infinite. So then, within our minds is not the concept of infinity, but the infinite itself. Since our minds are responsible for creating our perception of what reality actually is then, could our minds not be the supreme creator? One could ask in response to this: but then why, in 'my world', are others present? But this is impossible. One can infer all they want that their world, their conception of reality, is basically the same as every other. But how do we know this? Can we tell what other people are thinking? Of course not. So then we are left unable to prove that any individuals reality is in any way similar to any others' reality. Their mind created their own reality independently of anyone elses as far as we can tell. If, then, our entire reality is based solely in our minds, then how can god, or this concept of a supreme being not also exist, and be present in our minds?

Despite, all our theories on creation and quantum physics, Doesn't anyone want to piss themselves laughing when they see people that have such an absolute faith in one god in the form of a person, but they never answer the question, who created God?

If you observe the universe from a point of view thats not so human-centred, you will see that the idea of a human being creating everything is just so bizzare and close minded.

I am baptised but i'm not religious. If i had to choose, i'd go the other way. There's too much shit in this world to suggest there's a devine creature that loves us all. That's not good enough.

I choose to believe that "we" make things happen and exist. If you choose not to give yourself any credit then go for it. But there are two sides to every tale my friend. Neither is right or wrong just different. Each is entitled. What does piss me off, is when one person acts like their way of doing things is the ONLY way. That is wrong. We are all different in this world therefore, we believe different things. THAT COULD NOT BE MORE OBVIOUS.

 

What is god? god is nothing.....is there even a god? religion is just there to keep people sain, to give them something to answer unasnwerable questions and this is wat has controlled human minds since we could figured out we could lable things w/ sounds.... i beleive there is no heaven there is no hell and we live and then we die and thats the end... now some people will tell me well wat about the bible explain that. thats proff that god is realy that juses walked this land......and i just tell them for all we kno the bible could of just been a story to entertain people and as it got passed down generations we started to use it to answer the unanswerable questions of life. and this [font=&quot]phenomenon become popular throu peer-pressur and of coarse praticaly everyone joined it cuz they did wnt to b looked at as different. sure there good of been a person named god and person named juses but how can u b sure...but if i had to answer the question wat is God? i would have to say it is word that has brained washed the world.
