Haha, I remember eating at a pizza joint near the airport in Newark and the waitress started getting pissed at me because I told her to choose the pizza for me.

(on a side note, I always ask food workers for their opinion on what I should order... they know better than I do, after all)

Why don't you teenage brats take it to IM. We aren't interested in your Burger King stories. START YOUR OWN THREAD! Where you can talk about the finer points of waitering.

nah. Burger King was tough work though lol It's a SIMPLE job, but they slave you, you HAVE to be doing SOMETHING at EVERY second, unless it's break time. :p

WTF, can't you guys understand what is so blatantly put in front of you….Leave my thread and start your own, you can name it, “One Time At Band Camp or something as ludicrous and inane, just go away....DDR

Burger king = 5.15 an hour here (minimum wage)

Waiting tables (with tips) = between 7 and 10 an hour. I have even made over 15 an hour before...

There is good money in service man... It isn't just a kids summer job. There is a differance between burger king employees and wait staff...

Hey, they probably don't know how to start a new thread. That's the only reason I can see why they continue to fill this thread with their waiter experiences. The button is up at the top...start a new thread, do you need someone older to show you how?

Seems like I remember reading something in the origional post about being respectful to others? Sorry about hijacking the thread, but most every thread diverges to another subject at one point or another. This is how conversations flow.

Yes I did, so please respect what the thread is about and it's not about being waiters....It's for like minded people who share the same outlook....Thanks, DDR

P.S. If you want to have conversations about whatever use the PM option....

I meant no disrespect by it. I just think the evolution of conversations is a beautiful thing that makes each conversation have a bit of character and beauty about it, so I try not to hinder that natural flow... It just seems... natural.

Using the PM function would irradicate the entire point of a "message board".

Also, we share the same birthday... fascinating.
