It's obvious, when you think about it. Any other forum I post on, someone who behaves like he does would be permabanned. I don't know if he was awarded modship for acting like this, or if he just got a massive power rush. I hope it's the latter. I dunno, if we wanted to get him de-modded, surely there's a process to make a complaint, right?

What I hate about certain Christians is that some of them break the rules that they set for themselves while expecting others to follow those rules. However, since this is true of a certain section of more or less every societal group, this does not affect my opinion of Christianity as a whole.

one aspect a lot of fundamental christians seem to have is their close-mindedness.

instead of questioning things for themselves, they just accept what is told to them, which is often punishment for exploring alternative lifestyles and spiritual beliefs.

I agree that there is some level of fear instilled in Christians today. Hence why some are quick to try to censor even children's fantasy novels.

I guess that would be one thing I dont like about some Christians.

why is it whenever a discussion gets interesting and certain people get butthurt about it everyone starts whining for the mods? I understand we don't want trolls or fighting, and that the mods do help, but its like being in elementary school again.

Like you said, no-one wants trolls. So let's get rid of them? Like I said earlier, no-one's being reported for saying mean things about Christianity, Jesus or the Easter Bunny. People are being reported for refusing to allow discussion of any kind and using the forum as a showcase for their fevered egos. That's all.

In essence, people can believe what they want, but if they act like dicks, believing what they want won't and shouldn't change that fact. Appealing to free speech doesn't absolve people of following the relatively liberal forum rules.
