I went to Home Depot to pick up some screws for a project I’m working on and my bare feet got a little bit dirty
I went for a barefoot walk and the weather here is every nice it was 61 degrees Fahrenheit when I went for my barefoot walk I just wish my bare feet would have gotten dirtier
I mowed my lawn today barefoot and the wet grass felt so good on my bare feet and tomorrow I’m getting a pedicure . I wish my bare feet would have gotten greener and dirtier
I went to Walmart to pick up a medication and just walking from my truck to the pharmacy and back to my truck finally my feet got dirty yeah!!!
I just got back from picking up a few things and it’s 104 degrees Fahrenheit where I live and still walking around and shopping barefoot . At least my bare feet are getting tanned
I mowed my lawn today barefoot and I was hoping that my bare feet would have gotten dirtier and greener. Here’s a picture of my bare feet
I am barefoot most of the day every day except when not publicly acceptable. I did expand my public barefooting to include a pizza shop and my physical therapist facility. Pizza place didn’t care but physical therapy wanted me to have shoes on primarily for cleanliness. I don’t understand that concern since where my feet go other patients only contact those areas with their shoes. I think cultural expectations and norms is what causes businesses to require shoes. My experience so far has been positive with only three out of 47 businesses wanting me to wear shoes. Also, I experienced hot ground and grass yesterday for the first time. The temperature was around 93 full sun making concrete and blacktop challenging but I never felt such heat hotness while walking on grass.
I know what you mean where I live it’s been 105 to 107 degrees Fahrenheit and I still walk around barefoot and I have had people ask me if I’m ok or do I need help. I told them I’m ok and they all ask me how do my bare feet hold it being so hot?? I just tell them that I have been going barefoot for 33 years now and I never wear shoes even in the winter time in the snow I’m barefoot. Today it’s going to be 107 degrees Fahrenheit and I have some things to do and I know people are going to ask me questions and I will answer they it just a part of being a barefooter.
We just had some significant rain fall and the ground is no longer dry and hard. So I walked about a mile around the park in the damp grass. It felt wonderful especially since I haven’t been able to get out and walk because I am recovering from hernia surgery. After the park I went to Walmart and spent the better part of an hour shopping barefoot. I encountered a couple of elderly ladies in the parking lot who noticed I was barefoot, one of them jokingly said to me that it looks like I ran out of my shoes. We had a nice conversation and she even knew about grounding.
Recent rain has moistened hiking trails nicely so I went on a barefoot plus hike. It was wonderful as usual. Any idea what I mean by plus??
With warm weather now I am barefoot most of the day everyday. Today I went to Lowes, Kroger, Walmart and a donut shot barefoot. Two of these businesses I haven’t been barefoot in before today. I don’t know why more people aren’t going barefoot in public. Virtually no one seems to care. Next to no on says anything positive or negative and there is just the occasional “look”. So many are so close to going barefoot by virtue of wearing flip flops. Oh, I also went for a walk in the park and there were four large piles of sand that I couldn’t resist. Felt like a kid walking in the sand.
